«Breaking News» Emma Willis reveals she's broody at 42 as she discusses her anger over Big Brother axe

Earlier this year, fans were left shocked to discover that the hit Channel 5 show would be airing its last ever series after 18 years.

And Emma Willis has now discussed her anger and upset over Big Brother - both celebrity and civillian - being cancelled during a candid interview.

The Voice UK presenter, 42, also opened up about her family life with husband Matt Willis and their three children, admitting she is 'broody' after filming Emma Willis: Delivering Babies.

Talking about Big Brother being axed, Emma admitted that the timing was 'disappointing' after she discovered the news just hours before she launched the final series in September.

The presenter added that she and her co-host Rylan Clark-Neal could have been told a week before or a week after, instead of finding out on launch night.

Talking to The Sun's Fabulous, she said: 'Through the series I went from being angry to really sad, and Rylan [Clark-Neal, who hosted spin-off Bit On The Side] went from sad to really angry, so we swapped emotions.'

During the final Celebrity series over the summer, the show was embroiled in a scandal involving housemates Roxanne Pallett and Ryan Thomas.

The former Emmerdale actress, 35, had falsely accused the ex Coronation Street actor, 34, of punching her in the house and being a 'woman beater' after he did mock boxing jabs at her.

Roxanne came under fire for her reaction to the incident, demanding he was removed, and ended up quitting the show just hours later and deleting all her social media instead.

Emma had to interview the shamed soap star and grill her about the scandal, all while being sensitive to a fragile Roxanne during the show's exit interview.

Emma Willis doesn't like to do things by halves when it comes to style, does she?

She's pictured here in a promotional shot for the latest series of Celebrity Big Brother rocking a green glittery suit, which is by Georgia Hardinge. It's a brand we've spotted Michelle Keegan and Nicola Roberts in, and actually both Paloma Faith and Annabelle Wallis have worn this exact suit!

We love the split sleeves and rich hue. Emma kept her outfit relatively simple, adding just jewellery by Zoe and Morgan to allow this gorgeous green look to do all the talking.

Sadly it has now sold out, but you can click (right) to buy a similar blazer.

Or why not make them emerald with envy in one of the blazers we've tracked down for you elsewhere?

Talking about the difficult scenes, she said: 'I think we showed eight minutes of a whole hour interview as that’s all we had time for, and I wasn’t trying to be horrible, I was just trying to understand why. And also putting it across from Ryan’s point of view, because he’s really the one who could have been totally screwed over.'

Emma added that she was impressed by Ryan's 'absolute gentlemen' response to Roxanne after he accepted her apology and told people to leave off her.

The presenter went on to discuss her side project and fly-on-the-wall series, Emma Willis: Delivering Babies, where she spent 12 weeks working 12-hour shifts as a maternity care assistant at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Essex earlier this year.

Joking that it's a 'back-up plan if all this goes t**s up' after Big Brother being cancelled, Emma admitted that the show did make her broody.

The television star currently has three children - Isabelle, nine, Ace, seven, and Trixie, two, with her Busted star husband Matt, 35.

She said: 'It did! It really made me broody at the beginning – that newborn baby smell, the little noises… But then you do a night shift and you see a woman in the middle of the night with it all hanging out, everything sore, everything tired, babies screaming…'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
