Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw are giving Santa a run for his money this year!
The duo, who've been married for 42 years, always manage to outdo the rest with their annual Christmas decor and this year is no exception.
DailyMail.com was invited into the couple's spectacular Los Angeles home to get an up close and personal look at their winter wonderland.
Home for the holidays! Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw welcomed DailyMail.com into their home to check out their over-the-top holiday decor!
This year's theme was a gingerbread house - and not just any run-of-the-mill version. Robin brought the magic alive this year with a 15ft, life-sized gingerbread house in the family's foyer.
'I'm thinking of a gingerbread house that sits on the table. You have little cookies around it or have a little or something,' Dr. Phil said. 'I come home there's a house built within the house!'
'I have to, I think, out-do the year before and the year before that,' Robin chimed in.
The house was adorned with giant, sparkling candy decor and fluffy frosting accents on the outside.

Inside, the halls were decked with cookies for Santa, an elaborate Christmas tree, stockings for the kids and twinkling lights everywhere.
'There is not an extra inch in that foyer where the house could fit!' Robin exclaimed. 'So, I did my measuring and my planning.'
Dr. Phil said Robin has been cooking up ideas for this year's gingerbread house since Halloween. Last year the theme was bringing Aspen to Los Angeles.
Previously, Robin put together Santa's entire workshop and one year Robin filled the whole house with Christmas trees.

'She had 40 or 50 Christmas trees,' Dr. Phil added. 'I'm serious - all through the house!'
The tree were all decked out in twinkling lights and they all had the same furry tree skirts.
'It looked like a Christmas tree wonder land,' Robin recalled.
'A lot .. a Christmas tree lot,' her husband jokingly added.

'Every one has to be a surprise for the grand babies,' Robin explained
And, little personal touches from the family home even end up inside the displays.
London and Avery, the couple's two grandchildren, get to enjoy the magical scene every year as a surprise and they have yet to see this year's display.
Getting the decor down, however, it not always an easy task.

After Christmas one year, colorful balloons filled with gold glitter got trapped in the skylights.
'We couldn't get them down,' the veteran television host said. 'So I got her a Daisy BB gun and she went in there and shot the balloons down.'
Adding: 'I'm thinking "Oh god, don't hit the sky light."'
'You were doing it to!' piped in Robin. 'I'd say give me a color. He'd call out a color - they were red, green and white all filled with glitter - he'd say 'red!' BOOM! Got ya a red!'

This year, Robin re-painted an old tea table from the girls' room red and white and even moved artwork from her office in for the gingerbread walls.
Personalized items like snowman mugs and family photos make the whole sparkling scene feel homey.
The decor tradition is nothing new for the McGraw family. Before they moved to California, Robin repeatedly took home the local prize for the best outdoor decorations.

'Honest to god it looked like Griswold's,' Dr. Phil mused. 'You can see it from outer space!'
'Of course I wanted to win,' Robin revealed, showing a bit of her competitive side.
The prize for the competition was a piece of a Christmas village display.
'I wanted to win every piece,' the mother of two said. 'I was very satisfied no one could be beat us but, one year we got beat.'
'They just had to give it to somebody else one year or people were going to move,' Dr. Phil explained.

Phil, who was out of town at the time, tried to console his wife who joked that she was 'devastated.'
'Do you know what this precious man did?' Robin recalled.
'He bought a piece to that village and he sent it to his secretary and had her paint the year on it and our name - which was always done- and he walked in and presented it to me and the boys.'
Robin said she hung up her competitive Santa hat after that year.
'That was the true meaning of Christmas right there,' she said.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
