The man who crashed into a crowd of protesters at the Charlottesville rally, reportedly referred to the victim's mother as a recorded jailhouse phone call as a 'communist' and 'one of those anti-white supremacists.'

The news comes as two witnesses also shared that James Alex Fields Jr. showed no remorse prior to ramming into the counterprotestors and killing Heather Heyer.

Sarah Bolstad and Hayden Calhoun were with Fields just 30 minutes before the 2017 rally and said that he had appeared calm and made plans to meet with a friend for lunch, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reports.

Fields is on trial for first-degree murder and other charges stemming from the incident that killed the one woman and injured dozens of others.

One of the witnesses said counterprotesters yelled at them as they were walking. She said one man in their group yelled back, but Fields did not.

Prosecutors stated Fields was there to support white nationalists and was angry when he intentionally struck the crowd of counterprotesters.

Fields' lawyers said he believed he was acting in self-defense when he drove into the crowd.

He was said to have had a text conversation with his mother in the days leading up to the rally.

'We're not the one [sic] who need to be careful,' he responded in August 11. He is said to have also sent her a small image of Adolf Hitler.

But a call made on December 7, 2017, between Fields and his mother while he has been in jail also indicated that he didn't feel any remorse, according to prosecutors.

Following his 'communist' comment, the driver's mother commented that Susan Bro 'lost her daughter.'

'It doesn't f*****g matter,' he retorted, according to WVAW.

Fields also referred to the counterprotestors as 'mobbed by a violent group of terrorists' in a March 21, 2018, call.

He added: 'They were waving the ISIS flag. They support them.'

The man makes mention of the Nazi flag and Antifa in both the calls.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
