«Breaking News» Billi Mucklow reveals her terrifying cancer scare after undergoing surgery to remove neck tumour

Billi Mucklow has revealed she is recovering from major surgery after undergoing an operation two weeks ago to remove a tumour from her neck. 

The former TOWIE star, 30, took to Instagram on Tuesday to speak about her terrifying cancer scare as she shared pictures of her scar from her hospital bed.

Billi, who is married to footballer Andy Carroll and has two sons, described the past five weeks as 'really scary' after she noticed a visible lump in her throat, before undergoing the surgery along with a thyroidectomy.

Sharing close-up photos of her bandages and scar in her hospital gown, the reality star wrote: 'The last 5 weeks have been really scary...  

'I have had some major surgery removing a Tumour in my neck that I found some weeks ago due to a visible lump, constantly loosing my voice and breathing restrictions.

"After many tests and biopsy only option was to have the lump removed along with my Thyroid...

'I’ve been waiting two weeks to get the results hoping it's wasn’t the 'C' word and today I got them results and got the all clear.'

Billi then went on to pay tribute to her friends and family for looking after her, describing husband Andy, 29, as her 'rock'.   

After saying she was looking forward to returning to work as a yoga teacher in the New Year,  Billi concluded: 'Looking forward to Christmas with my family and beautiful children that I adore more than anything and my sister getting married! -

'My new scar now makes me smile, I’m stronger and realise what’s important in my life.'

 Billi rose to fame on The Only Way Is Essex and left the show six series later. She has since gone on to become a yoga instructor. The Essex star and fitness enthusiast is the owner of Bikram Yoga Essex, Inferno Hiit and Cycle Rhythm.

Her brother Sam has since joined the show, with Billi making a brief appearance on the last series of the ITVBe show.  

The Essex beauty is set to wed beau Andy, following his romantic proposal in Rome in 2013. The sports star had whisked Billi off to the Italian capital where he popped the question over a romantic dinner. 

The duo share two children together; sons Arlo, three, and Wolf, 11 months. Andy is also dad to daughter Emilie Rose and son Lucas from previous relationships.

Ahead of her cancer scare Billi had been busy helping to organise her sister Giorgie's nuptials , as she planned a lavish (and raucous) trip to New York for her sibling's hen do. 

The former TOWIE star revealed on Instagram back in October that she was jetting to New York to celebrate her sister's last moments as a Miss - with the group kicking the trip off in style by sipping on champers at 6am. 

The reality star is Maid of Honour to Giorgie and proving she has pulled out all the stops to ensure her sister has a memorable trip, Billi showed off the personalised tops and tailored blazers she had made for the group - with all the hens in black and bride Giorgie in white.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
