«Breaking News» The Apprentice 2018 winner Sian Gabbidon uses wrong Twitter handle for Lord Sugar

She's the winner of The Apprentice 2018, and was officially hired as Lord Sugar's business partner, receiving a £250,000 investment.

But Sian Gabbidon, 25, had a rocky start to her partnership with the multi-millionaire businessman, 71, after he called her out for using the wrong Twitter handle when addressing him on social media on Sunday.

After being crowned the champion of the BBC show, the Leeds native took to the platform and tagged Lord Sugar in a post.

However, the tweet - which has since been deleted - featured the wrong Twitter account name, meaning the billionaire wasn't receiving her comments.

Lord Sugar soon tried to rectify the embarrassing situation by publicly announcing on his social media profile the Apprentice winner's mistake.

'Sian you are using the wrong twitter handle for me it's @lord_sugar', he unapologetically wrote.

Fans were quick to comment on the mishap, suggesting the Apprentice star might soon hear those dreaded 'You're fired' words she avoided on the show.

'Great start Sian! Fired,' one wrote, while another questioned: 'Attention to detail?'

Before the finale aired, the swimwear designer spoke to MailOnline about her rivalry with runner-up Camilla Ainsworth whose 'gourmet nut milk' brand didn't quite impress.

Lord Sugar chose Sian despite describing her company as ‘a cottage industry’, and rightly so given that she had sold only 400 ‘bespoke’ swimsuits during its two years trading.

The multi-millionaire mogul rejected a product perfectly suited to the booming market in ‘non-dairy alternative milk drinks’ – a business already worth £300 million.

Sian told MailOnline how having a backbone, and the constant support of her boyfriend, means she can handle 'brutal' Lord Sugar.

Addressing the cattiness with the Nut Milk entrepreneur, Sian admitted she didn't go on the BBC show to make friends, and asserted that it's sometimes necessary to be 'ruthless' to win.

She said: 'We're business people and we're also friends, and what we're great at doing is turning into business women when we're on task and in the boardroom, and off camera everyone was friends and we were cool.

'But in that boardroom, we were fighting for ourselves and I came into this process on my own.

After weeks of whittling it down, we finally have a new winner of The Apprentice. Congratulations to Sian Gabbidon!

She secured Lord Sugar's investment in her swimwear brand, Sian Marie, but for now it's her dress that we want to know more about. It's from Missy Empire and we love the burnt orange colour, slinky satin fabric and cowl neck. The midi length is super flattering, and when styled with barely there perspex sandals by Ego, it's a very glamorous look.

'I didn't come in it to make friends, I came in it to win, and there was no way I was gonna think, "Oh I don't wanna offend anyone" I was like, "This is what I have to do" and I do believe that you have to be a bit ruthless sometime.

'And, I did believe that when I was talking to Lord Sugar I wanted him to see that everything I've done was on my own.

'I've spent two years of my life working on this business and putting everything into it, and I wanted that to come across.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
