«Breaking News» 11 dead after massive fire rips through a Chinese meat processing plant

At least 11 people have been confirmed dead after a fire tore through a large pork factory in central China today, according to Chinese state media.

The authority of Shangqiu in Henan province said the blaze broke out at around 11:10am local time at the factory of Huahang Modern Animal Husbandry Group. 

The fire was under control as of 2:15pm local time, according to a statement issued by the press office of the Shangqiu People's Government on social media.

The Shangqiu government said 11 people were working in the factory when the fire occurred. 

Footage and pictures from Chinese social media show huge plumes of black smoke billowing into the sky.  

Rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the scene and took the workers to the hospital, the statement said.

All of the 11 workers have died, reported state broadcaster China Central Television Station citing the country's Ministry of Emergency Management.

A special investigation team has been set up by the government of Shangqiu to probe into the matter. 

Situated in the Shangqiu Economic Development Zone, Huahang Modern Animal Husbandry Group specialises in butchering pigs and producing meat products.

According to its website, the company has an asset of 120 million yuan (£13.8 million), employs more than 400 workers and slaughters one million pigs a year.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
