«Breaking News» Two brothers arrested for killing girl, 16, who went missing after friends dropped her off in a park

California authorities have arrested two brothers linked to the disappearance of 16-year-old Aranda Briones, who has been missing for a month.

Owen Skyler Shover, 18, and Gary Anthony Shover, 21, were arrested by Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, authorities said on Tuesday.

SWAT teams arrested the brothers on Monday morning at a home in the town of Hesperia. 

Both men are suspected of killing Briones, though her body has yet to be found.

Owen Skyler Shover was booked on suspicion of murder and his brother was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit a crime.

The two men are being held at separate detention facilities.

Owen is being held without bail at Robert Presley Detention Center while Gary is also being held without bail at Southwest Detention Center.

Briones disappeared in Moreno Valley, California, on January 13 after hanging out with friends.

She was last seen climbing into a gray four-door sedan, Sheriff’s Deputy Mike Vasquez told KTLA-TV.

According to a Facebook page asking the public for help finding Briones, the family last saw the teen when she left her home on January 13 around 2pm.

She then went to meet up with friends before they dropped her off around 6pm that day.

From there an unidentified person claimed to have seen the teen at the 99 cent store across the street from the park.

But investigators who reviewed the surveillance video said they didn't see Briones on any surveillance footage.

The family said Briones' last known location was in Rubidoux, according to her phone's location.

Now, the device is no longer active.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating Briones, who has been described as 5ft4in tall and weighing 110 pounds.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
