«Breaking News» Sonia Kruger reveals a first look at The Voice Australia 2019 backstage during blind auditions

The Voice Australia 2019 has kicked off with a bang this week as thousands of hopefuls take the stage for a chance to impress the judges. 

And according to returning host Sonia Kruger, 53, this season won't be one to miss.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Sonia revealed a first look at the show's eighth season as she posed backstage during blind audition week. 

'And so it begins!' Sonia Kruge, 53, revealed a first look at The Voice Australia 2019 on Tuesday when she took to Instagram with a photo of herself backstage during blind audition week 

The glamazon looked trim and terrific as she stood on the Voice set in an electric blue one-shouldered jumpsuit.  

'And so it begins.....,' the beaming blonde wrote in her caption, before directing fans to read an interview with 9Honey in which she reveals more details about this season.  

'How good is it to be back on The Voice, a show that's loved right across the globe?'  Sonia said during the interview.' 

'She sees herself as royalty': It comes after New Idea claimed that longtime coach Delta (left) was 'unhappy' with Guy's (right) appointment after he seemingly received 'top billing' in a promo for the upcoming season 

'We've found some of the most incredible artists during the blind auditions and we can't wait to share all of their voices and stories with you soon,'  she gushed. 

Replacing DNCE frontman Joe Jonas on the red chairs is Guy Sebastian, who will sit alongside fellow judges Delta Goodrem, Kelly Rowland and Boy George.       

This season marks the first time two Australian judges have sat on the coaching panel since the show's first season.

It comes after New Idea claimed that longtime coach Delta was 'unhappy' with Guy's appointment after he seemingly received 'top billing' in a promo for the upcoming season.

'Delta wants top billing as she sees herself as The Voice Australia royalty having been there since day one,' an insider claimed in December last year. 

'It has been explained to her it was a promo announcing a new coach but she isn't happy,' the source added.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
