«Breaking News» Mayim Bialik blasts the United Airlines employee who shut the boarding gate door in her face

The Big Bang Theory actress Mayim Bialik is calling out the United Airlines employee who refused to let her on board her flight and shut the boarding gate in her face.

The 43-year-old actress, who plays Amy Farrah Fowler on the CBS sitcom, was flying from Houston to Los Angeles on Sunday when she was denied entry on the flight.

She claims the employee took one look at her carry-on suitcase and refused to let her on board, despite Bialik having a first class seat.

'To the @UnitedAirlines flight attendant who shut the boarding gate in my face. I made my connecting flight in Houston. It was a tight squeeze but you said there were plenty of open seats. When you saw my carry-on suitcase you said there was no room and shut the door in my face,' the actress said in a heated tweet on Sunday evening.

Bailik was left furious and in shock, asking why she couldn't fit her suitcase in one of the alleged empty seats on board.

'Why couldn't my little suitcase somehow fit? Maybe the first class seat I was supposed to sit in could have held it and I would have gladly sat in all of the open seats anywhere on that plane,' she added.

The Blossom star revealed the flight attendant let five other people who also had carry-on bags and were standing with her on the flight.

Bialik wondered if the flight attendant had a bone to pick with her.

'Maybe she just doesn't like the Big Bang Theory,' she reasoned.

The star also took to Instagram to vent about the aggravating experience.

United Airlines responded to her tweets saying: 'This is very disappointing to hear, Mayim. Please DM with more information on this situation.'

Bialik also took to Instagram to vent about the rude employee and share a picture of herself looking disgruntled and running through the airport.

'Ok @united airlines. I know I barely made my connecting flight. But I made it despite your delays making me late. And you turned me away as you let five other people on from my connecting flight because I had a carry-on suitcase. They had carry-ons too,' she wrote.

'I understand everything was shut but that lady stewardess didn’t have to shut the boarding door like she did in my face without even saying she was sorry. Or with 7 min left she could have made a small effort to try harder since she said there were "plenty of seats open,"' she added.

The actress says the employee refused to help her despite being on the verge of tears.

'Maybe she hates the Big Bang Theory. Maybe she was having a bad day. Maybe she hates women who look like they’re going to cry,' she said.

Bialik said her suitcase broke from running so frantically and aggressively through the airport to catch the fight and her asthma started acting up.

Despite her heated social media spree bashing the airline, the actress insisted she wasn't be a 'Prima Donna'.

'Random people think I’m a prima donna because as she shut the door I said "I have a first class seat!" I didn’t mean I deserve it more, I meant can my suitcase sit in my first class seat and I’ll sit anywhere else?' she said.

United Airlines told DailyMail.com agents helped book Bialik on the next flight from Houston to Los Angeles.

'We were able to get Ms. Bialik on the next flight to Los Angeles and we are reviewing what happened with our team in Houston,' spokesperson Jonathan Gueron said.

According to her social media she was in Pittsburgh over the weekend where she visited a Jewish community center.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
