Married At First Sight's Ning Surasiang and Mark Scrivens came to blows during a gym workout on Tuesday night's episode.
But it appears the newlyweds were actually in high spirits behind the scenes when they arrived to film the segment back in October 2019.
Pictures obtained by Daily Mail Australia show the couple looking happy as they performed stretches and flirted with each other outside the gym.

Ning, a 32-year-old single mother, took the opportunity to show off her flexibility while waiting for producers to arrive.
Much to Mark's delight, the hairdresser lifted a leg over one of his shoulders before they burst into fits of giggles.
She looked sensational on the day, flaunting her toned figure in black leggings and a matching crop singlet tied at the waist.
Supportive husband: Using the stretch as an opportunity to get close to her beau, Ning was seen placing her hands on Mark's head as she changed legs
He looks happy! Much to the delight of Mark, he beamed with a large grin as Ning's toned leg hovered over his muscular shoulder
Where's he looking? Showing off her lithe frame in an all-black activewear ensemble, the brunette edged closer toward the personal trainer to complete her stretch

Using the stretch as an opportunity to get close Mark, Ning placed her hands around his face as he smiled.
At one stage, the 41-year-old former Army serviceman helped his 'wife' steady her balance.
However, he did not join her in warming up for the exercise and instead sat still on a brick wall outside the gym.

While the couple looked blissfully happy in the photos, the episode which aired on Tuesday told a very different story.
Once they were inside the gym, tensions simmered as they argued furiously during what was supposed to be a bonding session.
Ning called Mark a 'man-child' and accused him of 'punishing' her during the workout.
'I'm done, don't like where this is going, I'm finished. See you later!' she snapped.

In a piece-to-camera, Ning accused her 'husband' of punishing her at the gym instead of making it a bonding experience.
'I don't think he wanted me to enjoy it I think he just wanted to punish me and see me sweat,' she said.
After Mark exclaimed the pair won't be going to a gym again, Ning agreed, adding: 'F*** no, not with you.'
Insisting that he 'hasn't done anything wrong,' the brunette beauty began to shed tears while accusing Mark of treating her 'worse than a client' as opposed to treating her like his 'wife'.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
