«Breaking News» Kate Ritchie attends Harry Potter and The Cursed Child opening night in Melbourne

She is the former soap star who has become a successful radio presenter and children's book author.

And it seems Kate Ritchie is trying her hand at fashionista, stepping out for the opening night of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child at Melbourne's Princess Theatre on Saturday, looking nothing short of stylish. 

The 40-year-old former Home and Away star showcased her fabulous figure in a chic black dress with lace detailing along the bodice and a pleated skirt, leading celebrity arrivals at the event.

She teamed the look with matching heels with rope strap detailing and a Classic Chanel Flap purse.

For makeup the brunette beauty she opted for fresh and glowing complexion, with peach blush cheeks, lashings of mascara and glossy lips, and styled her hair up in a low bun. 

On the night, Kate joined the likes of The Project's Waleed Aly and his wife Susan Carland at the event.

He opted for a smart casual light blue blazer and navy trousers, matched with suede shoes.

Susan cut a stylish figure in a floral blazer, a white button down and blue skinny trousers.

The bespectacled former Neighbours star opted for a dapper blazer and trouser ensemble, complete with a bow tie. 

Meanwhile his ladylove showed off her fashion game in a chic blazer dress and mini shorts ensemble, which she teamed the look with bootie heels.

Harry Potter And The Cursed Child picks up the story two decades after the concluding book in the magical series penned by by J.K. Rowling. 

It follows the tale of Harry Potter's son, Albus, and his adventures as he enters Hogwarts, a school for wizards.

The play is designed to be viewed in two parts, either on consecutive evenings, or by attending the matinee and evening performances.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
