In the shot, she hugged the nascent Oscar-nominee, as both were clad in dark clothes at what looked to be an industry event.

Malek told E! News three years ago how he also was classmates with Kirsten Dunst, and 'used to have a little crush on her.'

The heat surrounding Malek remains at a fever pitch amid his award season success, as odds-makers have tabbed him a heavy favorite to win the Best Actor Oscar after he walked away a winner at the Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Last year, the Mr. Robot alum said at Cinemacon that he was initially wary of taking the role as Queen front man Freddie Mercury between the years of 1970 and 1985.

'When I got this role, I thought, "Oh my God, this could be a career-defining performance,'" the Los Angeles native revealed. 'And about two minutes later I thought, "This could be a career killer." You don’t get this right and it’s trouble.'

The film has gone on to be both a hit with critics and fans, making more than $900 million internationally since its release last month.

Speaking with People last fall, Malek said that he was 'all-in' on playing the Under Pressure singer once he decided to move forward with the project.

'It was just after that where the weight of it all hit,' the surging star said. 'I felt the only way to not have the pitfall of making it such a pressure-filled situation was to dive in wholeheartedly into all things Freddie. And go to London, take some piano lessons, singing lessons, do some movement coaching, and give it all I have.'

Malek is challenged by Vice's Christian Bale, A Star Is Born's Bradley Cooper, At Eternity’s Gate's Willem Dafoe and Green Book's Viggo Mortensen at the Oscars, slated to air on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT on February 24 from Los Angeles.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
