«Breaking News» James McAvoy collects autographs from fellow celebs on his shirt at Vanity Fair Oscars bash

He has been keeping busy ever since reprising his role as Kevin/The Horde in superhero thriller film Glass.

And James McAvoy appeared in great spirits as he attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in California on Sunday evening.

Putting on a bold display, the Split actor, 39, ensured his time at the glitzy event was well-documented as he collected autographs from fellow celebs on his shirt.

The Trance star beamed with delight as he managed to cover his crisp white garment in signatures from the likes of Black Panther's Michael B. Jordan, Charlize Theron and Samuel L. Jackson.

Scottish actor James summed up his fun-filled evening on Instagram, as he penned: 'Went to the Oscars. Presented. Got mugged by sharpie wielding celebrities.

'I’m sure my shirt is going to be defaced by more of these entitled graffiti mentalists as the night goes on', he added.

Despite his kooky display, the X Men star maintained his dapper appearance in other elements of his outfit as he sported a slick black two-piece, complete with a skinny tie and patent brogues.

James recently reprised the role of dissociative identity disorder patient Kevin Wendell Crumb aka The Horde in Glass - which is an Unbreakable/Split crossover film.

Despite production officially concluding on December 5, the two-time Oscar nominee revealed he was still shooting scenes for Glass in Brazil just weeks before it was due for release in January.

Fans also saw James return as Gnomeo in Paramount Pictures animated flick Sherlock Gnomes.

'I basically made sure I did a lot of shouting, a lot of screaming, I'd go out really late at night and try to make sure that my voice was husky and sort of raspy and sexy as possible,' the screen star joked to ABC Radio about the role.

'On this one, you just got to inhabit it and enjoy it. You try to put as much of something different in Gnomeo as you can.'

John Stevenson's Gnomeo & Juliet sequel also features Emily Blunt, Johnny Depp, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mary J. Blige, Michael Caine, and Maggie Smith.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
