Heartache: Vicky Pattison took to Instagram on Boxing Day, to share a photograph of herself with her late friend Paul Burns, who passed away in July aged 37, admitting that she was 'lost entirely' without him
Vicky wrote alongside the photo: 'I think the hardest part of losing someone, isn’t having to say goodbye- but rather learning to live without them. Always trying to fill the void, the emptiness that’s left inside your heart when they go.
'Christmas is a hard a time of year for anyone who has lost someone- their absence feels like a physical pain, an ache that will never go away.
'I just wanted to take this opportunity to say @mrpaulburns1 I love you so much!!! And me and the girls, and so many more people, miss you everyday and will never stop thinking of you!!! RIP My love I’m lost entirely without you.'
In October, Vicky Pattison admitted she would 'never forgive herself' for not being with her best friend Paul Burns when he passed away.

The former Geordie Shore was left heartbroken when the bar manager, lovingly dubbed Mr Newcastle, died in June, as she discussed her agony on the Jeremy Vine show.
Having previously spoken about the impact of her grief, Vicky was candid in admitting the guilt she carries around the circumstances of her 'incredibly funny and warm and charismatic' friend's tragic death.
She said: 'Back in the summer, my best friend passed away very suddenly. His heart just stopped beating. Unfortunately, I wasn't with him at the time, which was something that I don't think I'll ever truly forgive myself for...
'Having said that there was nothing I could have done if I had been there. He was so vibrant and full of life. He was incredibly funny and warm and charismatic...

'It was a loss not just for me and his family, but - and I'm not being bias here - for the entire North East.'
Vicky also appeared on Loose Women in September to discuss the 'toughest time', insisting that she wants to break the taboo surrounding grief and tell people it's OK to be sad.
Paul, who was a key figure of the Geordie party scene, suddenly passed away on Saturday June 2.
The devastating news spread on social media at the time with stars of Geordie Shore, including Charlotte Crosby, Marty McKenna and Kyle Christie, paying homage to the nightclub and events manager, who was dubbed 'a beautiful human being'.
Moving on: Having previously spoken about the impact of her grief, Vicky was candid in admitting the guilt she carries around the circumstances of her 'incredibly funny and warm and charismatic' friend's tragic death
Vicky sobbed: 'I’ve had probably one of the toughest summers of my life, it’s very important to use this and my platform for something good.
'I consider myself a determined, strong and assured woman. It took the wind out of my sails. I want to break down that taboo around grief...
'Nothing can prepare you for loss like that. It was dramatic, not anticipated at all. Paul was warm, witty, hilarious, a truly amazing person. You never consider your life without people like that.'
Fighting back tears, Vicky recalled the fateful day she found out Paul had passed away, following a night out the previous evening.
Grief-stricken: Vicky has previously appeared on television to discuss grief and the struggles she has dealt with since Paul's passing, as she admitted she wanted to be there at the time
'We’d been on a night out together I’ve got the best friends in the world, and I see being given that one last night with him as a gift. After a night out he’d always be on the group chat first, no hangover, making us laugh.'
Paul Burns had finished his shift at The Botanist at around 11pm on June 1 this year, before going out with pals in the city centre.
But last Friday an inquest heard that the evening ended in tragedy when the 37-year-old collapsed.
Coroner Karen Dilks said in the early hours of June 2, Mr Burns was seen by a member of the public 'sitting on a wall and appeared to be swaying with his head in his hands'.
'A short time later he was seen lying unresponsive on the pavement,' she said.
Paramedics attended the scene and attempted to resuscitate him, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
Ms Dilks said a post-mortem examination showed no obvious signs of natural disease. She said a toxicology report confirmed the presence of MDMA - also known as ecstasy - in his system.
Ms Dilks told the hearing that the concentration of the drug was 'high in relation to the typical concentration in recreational users'.
Shocking: Fighting back tears, Vicky recalled the fateful day she found out Paul had passed away, following a night out the previous evening
She said in the absence of any other findings the cause of death 'can be attributed to the effects of MDMA'.
A statement from Detective Sergeant Richard Anderson confirmed that inquiries by Northumbria Police found there was 'nothing to suggest any third party involvement in Paul's death, no suspicious circumstances and no link between Paul's death and any other death'.
Ms Dilks said: 'Given the evidence I have heard today it's clear Paul Burns had no natural disease that could explain his death - the only significant finding was that of the toxicological findings of the level of MDMA.
'The conclusion I must report is that it was a drug related death.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
