The ex-wife of George H.W. Bush’s son Neil was reportedly disinvited to the 41st President’s funeral - and she is angry.
Sharon Bush told her ex-husband Neil that she wanted to sit with their three children at Washington National Cathedral, where American public figures bade farewell to her former father-in-law.
But she was later informed by Neil Bush’s secretary that there weren’t enough pews in the cathedral, according to Page Six.
‘I was going to take the train down. I wanted to pay my respects,’ Sharon Bush told the site.

‘But I paid my respects by raising three wonderful children during a 23-year marriage.’

Sharon Bush is best known for her much-publicized divorce from Neil Bush after 23 years of marriage.
The couple divorced in 2003.
The messy divorce produced some eye-opening disclosures.
Among them: Neil Bush had sex with women who showed up uninvited at his hotel rooms in Asia; he had an affair and may have fathered a child out of wedlock; and he stood to make millions from businesses in which he has little expertise - including a computer-chip company managed in part by the son of former Chinese president Jiang Zemin.
Sharon Bush accused Neil of fathering a child with his current wife, Maria Andrews.
The woman's ex-husband, Robert Andrews, filed a defamation lawsuit, though DNA testing proved Andrews was indeed the father.
The couple had three children - Lauren, Pierce, and Ashley.
Lauren Bush Lauren is married to David Lauren, who is the son of clothing brand creator Ralph Lauren.
Lauren heads the Feed Bag Initiative, which provides 100 million meals to those who are hungry.
Pierce is also involved in philanthropy. She runs Texas’ Big Brothers Big Sisters, an organization that provides children with mentors.
Ashley tutors women in safe houses.
Sharon Bush says that she played a bigger role in raising the kids and steering them toward a life of giving back to the community.
‘I taught them everything they know about “points of light” by taking them to soup kitchens and homeless shelters from the time they were 4 years old,’ she said.
‘I didn’t want them spoiled. I did this.
‘Neil was never around. He was always traveling.’

Meanwhile, the Bush family appears to be getting back to a routine after the passing of their beloved patriarch.
Jenna Bush Hager returned to the Today show on Monday after a week of mourning her late grandfather.
The former president passed away on November 30, at the age of 94, and while the 37-year-old Today correspondent said she is still 'in pain,' she feels lucky that she and her family were able to give her grandfather a 'proper sendoff.'
Back to work: Jenna Bush Hager, 37, returned to the Today show on Monday after a week of mourning her late grandfather George. H.W. Bush
Loss: The former president passed away on November 30, at the age of 94
Jenna acknowledged that it can be difficult to lose someone publicly because you hear people talking about your loved one, but she stressed that she and her family 'felt so surrounded with love.'
'And I just thought about other people that lost people they loved this season, right before Christmas, who don’t get this, and then life goes on. But for us, we felt it,' she said.
'He would have been embarrassed, I think, by how public it was, and by how much we talked about him.'
Jenna explained that her father, George W. Bush, was determined not to cry when he delivered his eulogy at the memorial service held at National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. last week.
The former president remained composed throughout his speech, but at the very end, he briefly choked up.
'He was so hilarious, he was like, "I’m not going to cry, I’m not going to cry." And then afterward he was, like, "I made it to the two-yard line,"' she said.
Jenna pointed out that her grandfather had always encouraged them to show their true emotions.
'He had these lessons that he lived by and one of them was, don’t be afraid to cry. That was the way we were raised,' she said, adding: 'I cry at the drop of a hat.
'But I think it’s okay to show pain when you’re feeling pain, and joy when you’re also feeling joy.'
Jenna also spoke at her grandfather's state funeral after her cousins Lauren Bush Lauren and Ashley Walker Bush.
She delivered a reading from Revelation 21:1-4; 6-7; 23-25 to the mourners at the National Cathedral.
It came after Jenna read a love letter to her grandfather on the Today show last Monday after the news of her grandfather's death was announced.
She decided to write a love letter to her grandfather because he had a history of writing similar letters to his wife, Barbara Bush, throughout their 73-year-long marriage.
Although they were in mourning, Jenna said she and her family still shared many happy moments last week.
'He left behind a family that loves each other,' Jenna said. 'There was a lot of laughter. My cousins are hilarious. We laughed and we had a lot of fun. We told stories. You know, we'll miss him, but he's in a better place.'
Following her grandfather's funeral in Houston, Texas, on Thursday, a special Union Pacific train led by a locomotive dubbed the 'Bush 4141' took Bush's remains to College Station, which was what Jenna said he had always wanted.
She and her family were aboard the train and watched as thousands of people lined the streets to pay their respects to the former president before he was buried at his presidential library.
Jenna said she had a 'hilarious time' with her dad during the train ride.
'He would be like, "Okay, let's see if we can get the guy in the black shirt to wave,' she recalled.
The late Bush was buried at his presidential library next to his wife, Barbara, who died in April, and their daughter Robin, who died in 1953.
Despite the death of the former first couple, the family compound in Maine will continue to live on for the younger generations.

The former first couple's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren are set to continue enjoying the stunning views, fishing, golfing and swimming each summer at their oceanfront home on the Maine coast.
'It will always stay in the family,' said Evelyn Paine, a longtime family friend who has been a guest at the nearly 9-acre oceanfront property.
'They want everyone in the family to enjoy it as much as they have.'
The Walker's Point property became known as the 'Summer White House' when Bush was president, elevating the sleepy coastal community's status and making it a household name thanks to high-profile visits by world leaders, political protests and swarming journalists.
The three-story, stone-and-shingle residence overlooking the Atlantic Ocean frequently served as a backdrop for reports on the nightly news.
In addition to that main house, there are eight other buildings, including homes for all five of Bush's children: former President George W. Bush, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Dorothy 'Doro' Bush Koch, Neil Bush, and Marvin Bush.
There's also a swimming pool, a tennis court and an art studio for George W. Bush. And, of course, there's a horseshoe pit for George H.W. Bush.
The nation's 41st president died last month at 94 in Houston and was laid to rest Thursday in College Station, Texas. His wife died about eight months ago at 92.
Bush spent part of every summer at Walker's Point since childhood with the exception of during World War II when he was a naval aviator.
His wish was for the family's future generations to enjoy the property the same way he did, said Freddy Ford, chief of staff to his son, former President George W. Bush.
'Forty-one's wishes were for the family to enjoy his beloved Walker's Point for generations, and that's just what they'll do,' Ford said in a statement.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
