NASA invited Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry to tour its lunar lab after the NBA star said he did not believe man ever walked on the moon.
Curry made the surprising statement while taking part in the The Ringer's Winging It podcast which was aired on Monday. He asked teammate Andre Iguodala and the podcast's hosts: ''We ever been to the moon? Nope.
'They gone come get us. I don't think so either. I'm starting a conspiracy theory.'
When pushed for his opinion, he told the host: 'We took someone to the moon? I don't think so.'

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry said he did not believe the moon landing was real in a podcast published on Monday
In response to his remarks, NASA spokesman Allard Beutel told The New York Times: 'We’d love for Mr. Curry to tour the lunar lab at our Johnson Space Center in Houston, perhaps the next time the Warriors are in town to play the Rockets.
'We have hundreds of pounds of moon rocks stored there, and the Apollo mission control.
'During his visit, he can see firsthand what we did 50 years ago, as well as what we’re doing now to go back to the moon in the coming years, but this time to stay.'
Curry was unperturbed by its response and tweeted a link to a news article about it with an emoji wearing sunglasses.
In 1967, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first men to land on the moon by completing the Apollo 11 space mission.

It had been years in the making and was an event that stunned the world.
Curry is not the first to express doubt that it took place as the country claimed it did.
He is also not the first NBA star to share a conspiracy theory.
Earlier this year, the Boston Celtics' Kyrie Irving shared his view that the earth was flat.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
