A mother-of-two who was found dead three days before Christmas had drowned, according to a post-mortem examination.
The body of Marissa Aldrich, 29, was found at a property in St Neots in Cambridgeshire at 2.30am on December 22.
Before the woman was discovered a man was heard screaming 'she's dead under the bridge' and residents said they heard a loud commotion outside their homes.
A man has now been charged with murder after the woman was found dead in Cambridgeshire.

Robert McWhir, 25, from St Neots, Cambs., was arrested on Saturday morning after the woman's body was discovered and charged with murder.
Emergency services were called to an area surrounded by a new-build estate in Cambridgeshire, at around 4.30am on Saturday.

Police cordoned off an area of shrubland between Loves Way and Belland Hill, near a bridge covering a water-filled ditch.
A resident told Cambridgeshire Live: 'I heard a man at about 2am. He was making like a 'rah' noise.
'Then a woman came down the road on her own and came back with another woman who was crying.
'The man came running back round and was shouting 'She's dead under the bridge'.'
Another neighbour said their mother had heard people running up and down the road.
Friends and family took to social media to write emotional tributes to Marissa writing on Facebook, Abby Herschell said: 'Rest in peace little cuz Marissa Aldrich.'
Melissa Howard said: 'I can't believe what I am hearing."
She added: 'Someone tell me it's all wrong, we will have memories that within never go away.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
