«Breaking News» Joe Sugg's grandmother Phyllis reckons he is 'head over heels' for Strictly partner Dianne Buswell

Strictly Come Dancing's Joe Sugg's grandmother has insisted he's head over heels for dance partner Dianne Buswell.

Phyllis Sugg, 95, went to Blackpool to watch Joe, 27, in action with Dianne, 29, during the BBC competition and admitted she knew there was a spark between them.

She told MailOnline: 'I may be 95 but I could see that twinkle in his eye - and the way they looked at each other.

'He brought Dianne over to meet me too and that’s a sign that there is romance in the air.

'She seemed like a lovely girl - I think he might be head over heels.'

Phyllis, who lives in the Wiltshire village of Lacock where Joe grew up, reckons her grandson gets his dancing skills from her.

She said: “He’s never walked on a dance floor before, let alone actually danced on one.

'But I love watching him on the telly every week, I’m so proud of him.

'I used to love dancing myself, I was good at the waltz and foxtrot, perhaps be got it from me.

'But those days are long gone for me, my back, my knees, everything’s gone but I keep smiling.'

Phyllis added her roof thatcher turned internet blogger grandson didn’t go on the show looking for romance.

She said: 'Sometimes these things just happen, we will have too wait and see whether he brings her here to meet the family.'

The YouTuber, 27, took to Instagram on Sunday, after missing out on first place during Saturday's final, to share a cosy picture.

He captioned it with: 'I may not have won the glitter ball, but I’ve won something a million times more special.'

The pair were interviewed on This Morning last week, where they played coy about the romance rumours, but didn't say they were untrue.

When Phillip Schofield quizzed the pair on the dating rumours, Joe smiled, 'Here we go! Do you know what, it's so nice, I've met such a good friend in Dianne…'

Leaning forward Phillip said, 'And…?' Laughing, Joe replied, 'We haven't got time to think of anything like that! We're so busy dancing…'

Phillip said, 'Is that a no?' Joe smiled and replied, '...We're so busy dancing! We haven't got time!'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
