A senior police officer caught having sex with a married woman solicitor in his police station has kept his job.
Detective Inspector Ricky Price, 42, was caught in the act with high-flying lawyer Rachel Pudner, also 42.
Chief Constable Matt Jukes ruled the officer was guilty of gross misconduct but let him off with a final written warning.
It means Price will keep his £54,000-a-year job and a full pension after 22 years in the job.
Price and married mum-of-two Mrs Pudner sneaked off to a disused interview room at Cockett police station in Swansea, South Wales.
But they were caught when a Police Community Support Officer walked in on the naked pair.

DI Price, 42, was caught in a 'state of undress' with high-flying lawyer Rachel Pudner, (pictured), also 42, a partner with a Swansea Law firm, specialising in family law
An insider at the police station said at the time: 'It has been a bit of a scandal - people were sworn to secrecy but everyone knew what happened.
'Inspector Price was a career cop who was tipped for further promotion.
'They were taking a huge risk, they were both practically naked when the startled PCSO found them at it.'
South Wales Police held a misconduct hearing behind closed doors this week to consider Price's conduct following 'an incident' at Cockett Police Station in Swansea.
The force said in a statement: 'Chief Constable Matt Jukes, who chaired the hearing, was presented with the facts of the case, following a thorough and detailed investigation undertaken by the force's Professional Standards Department.
'At the conclusion of the hearing, which was held in private following legal submissions, the Chief Constable found that the officer's actions did amount to Gross Misconduct and a sanction of a Final Written Warning was delivered.
Det Insp Price was engaged to fiancee Emma Kayes, 33, when he was caught on the job in August. Their house is now up for sale.
He is a former rugby player with Aberavon RFC and South Wales Police RFC playing full back until retiring from the game 10 years ago.
It is understood Det Insp Price is being moved to a different job with South Wales Police and will get 'special training' over his lewd behaviour.

Chief Superintendent Dorian Lloyd, Head of Professional Standards for South Wales Police said: 'The sanction of a Final Written Warning is an extremely serious outcome and will remain on the officer's personal record for the next 18 months.
'South Wales Police employs almost 5,000 police officers and members of staff, who demonstrate the very highest levels of professional conduct and integrity at all times.
'Members of the public and the communities of South Wales should be reassured that the force's Professional Standards Department takes any complaint or allegation relating to an individual's conduct extremely seriously, as has been demonstrated here.
'We will always ensure that such matters are thoroughly investigated and that appropriate action is taken.'
Friends said Mrs Pudner is battling to save her marriage to husband Matthew, 42, a manager with BT.
She has kept her job as a partner in the Swansea law firm Hutchinson Thomas where she specialises in family law and is a member of the Law Society Children Panel.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
