But Denise Van Outen was keen on soaking up some sun ahead of the festive celebrations as she slipped herself into a skimpy bikini while on an idyllic holiday in the Maldives.
The presenter, 44, who showcased her gym-honed figure in a polka dot bikini went on to share another snap from her getaway as she sweetly kissed daughter Betsy, eight, in the pool.

Speaking about her move to the city from countrylife, she told Little London magazine: 'I’d also started on Loose Women and work was dragging me back to the city, and I have to say, I’m loving being back.

'I had a nanny in Kent who went above and beyond to help me out, but I’d often be sitting on a motorway wishing I could be putting Betsy to bed myself, being here allows me to do that.
'You definitely have more access to kids’ things in London, too, they really need that, and I need it- I bumped into my friend Angela Griffin on Hampstead high street the other day and she said the same of country life – “I can’t do it!"

Denise has recently discussed the possibility of having children with partner Eddie, admitting she worries the timing is against her.
The Loose Women star told the Mirror: 'I would have more kids but I’m 44, [but] I don’t know. Eddie has two kids already and they are grown up.'
She added: 'If it happened, then fine but I think probably all my eggs are shrivelled up.
'We are never in the right place at the right time, every time I see him I’ve got to drop the p-word.'
The theatre star also reflected on giving birth to her daughter, who she shares with ex-husband Lee Mead, saying she wishes she had started having kids earlier.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
