He is starring in Nativity! The Musical alongside his Love Island star daughter Dani Dyer.
But audience members were left confused over Danny Dyer's appearance in the pantomime show, as it's been revealed the actor is on stage for just '13 minutes' throughout the entire production.
The EastEnders star, 41, plays the role of a Hollywood producer in the two-hour long show, but is said to barely feature despite his involvement being heavily advertised.
Baffled: Danny Dyer's appearance in Nativity! The Musical has left fans confused as he only appears on stage for '13 minutes', according to audience members
According to one 'baffled' theatre-goer, Danny is barely on stage. They told The Sun: 'It was a bit baffling that Danny wasn’t in the final song considering his daughter was.
'For the expensive ticket price, there was definitely an expectation amongst the crowd of seeing a bit more of the man himself.'
The publication reports that Danny is on stage for just '10 per cent' of the 120minute running time of Nativity! The Musical - which has seen tickets sold for £120.
MailOnline have contacted a representative for Danny for comment.

Despite his fleeting appearance on stage, Danny and his daughter Dani, 22, received rave reviews for their joint acting venture.
The show, which is currently on at the Hammersmith Eventim Apollo this Christmas, saw Danny and his reality star daughter praised by audience members following its open night, earlier this month.
Many took to Twitter after watching the show and were full of praise for the pair, penning: 'Just on our way home, really enjoyed it, an excellent opening night.
'Nativity the musical was AMAZING!!☺️ @Dani_MasDyer and @MrDDyer singing a duet dressed as baubles was the best thing...'

'Absolutely brilliant! It was the kids last day at school, my sons birthday tomorrow and a fabulous start to the Christmas holidays! Nativity Rocks!'
Like father like daughter: Dani, meanwhile, had shared her pre-show nerves with fans ahead of her debut on stage in the musical
'Safe to say @MrDDyer and @Dani_MasDyer just nailed @nativityuk tonight! Big congratulations!'
Dani, meanwhile, had shared her pre-show nerves with fans ahead of her debut on stage in the musical. She confessed on Instagram: 'So, completely freaking out this morning, couldn't sleep last night and I feel rotten.
'But I'm excited, it's the first night of Nativity! Cannot wait, really nervous.'
Danny plays Hollywood producer Mr Parker Lewis in the musical, and imitating life, Dani portrays Polly his daughter. Polly is an aspiring actress and her father will do anything to get her into the spotlight.
The show also stars Simon Lipkin and Jo Brand and runs until New Year's Eve.

While Danny is a stalwart actor, Dani has thus far failed to launch a career as a performer - until now.
She rose to fame over the summer on Love Island, going on to win the show with partner Jack Fincham. The pair split for a few days earlier in December but are now back on, with the break-up branded merely 'a blip'.
They are also set to star in their own fly-on-the-wall reality series, which will air on ITVBe from January.
Dani used to work as a barmaid, but has expressed a desire to be an actor, like her father. She has been trying to gain recognition since the start of 2018, where she was briefly cast in ITV2 series Survival Of The Fittest.

She injured herself on the first day and had to pull out - consequently paving the way for her to star on Love Island instead.
Nativity is thought to be Dani's first mainstream stage role; she has appeared in films Doghouse (2009), We Still Kill The Old Way (2014) and Age Of Kill (2015).
Dad Danny also starred in Doghouse, but is best known currently for his role as Mick Carter in EastEnders, which he has starred in since 2013.
Danny's stint at the Apollo will followed by more stage work in January and February. He will star in the Pinter At The Pinter season opposite Martin Freeman in the play The Dumb Waiter.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
