«Breaking News» The Bush family pay their respects to Bush Snr.

George W. Bush During became emotional Monday during a memorial ceremony honoring his late father George H.W. Bush.


Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said in the tribute: 'He kept us flying high, and challenged us to fly high higher still.


'He did it with modesty and kindness that would have been surprising in someone one tenth as tough and accomplished as he was.


'We stand with you in mourning, but also in gratitude. Gratitude for lives well lived, and duties thoroughly fulfilled. Gratitude that God gave this country, George and Barbara Bush. They may now be reunited in the light of His grace.'

Laura Bush stood by her husband's side during the emotional ceremony. Vice President Mike Pence was also standing next to him. 


Several hundred people gathered in downtown Houston for a memorial to former President George H.W. Bush, a beloved figure in his adopted hometown.


The ceremony Monday night took place in front of Houston's City Hall, bathed in lights of red, white, and blue.


Thousands of Americans were pictured as they held up their phones while Hallelujah played by Clay Walker.

City organizers encouraged Houston residents to wear their boldest socks in a nod to Bush's well-known sartorial tradition.


Michael Meaux (moh), who worked in the U.S. State Department for Bush's son, former President George W. Bush, wore a pair of hot-pink socks that he laughingly said he had owned for a long time but had never worn before.


The Houston resident called Bush 'the last gentleman president that we've had.' 


On Monday, the 41st president’s remains were taken on the presidential aircraft, known as Air Force One when the sitting president is on board, from Houston, to Washington where his funeral service will be held in the National Cathedral.  







Bush, the 41st U.S. president, died Friday and will be laid to rest this week following four days of ceremonies and memorials

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
