«Breaking News» Vacuum mogul James Dyson drops $74million on six-bedroom Manhattan penthouse

Vacuum mogul James Dyson has bought himself an early Christmas present in the form of a stately Manhattan penthouse with a cool $73.8million price tag.

The 71-year-old British billionaire's new 9,138-square-foot pad is located on the 54th floor of one of the city's most coveted buildings, 520 Park Avenue, not far from Dyson's flagship store.

It boasts six bedrooms with a 279-square-foot balcony and panoramic views of Central Park.

Dyson's new pad is one of 35 residences in the limestone tower located at East 60th Street, each unit decked out with state-of-the-art kitchens, 11-foot ceilings, white oak floors and, of course, Dyson appliances.

The building comes with a gym and a rooftop pool.

The inventor - who is worth an estimated $5.2billion - will soon be neighbors with Bob Diamond, ex-CEO of Barclays, UFC billionaire Frank Fertitta and publicist Ronn Torossian.

A 24th-floor unit recently sold for a slightly less exuberant $24million along with a 30th-floor unit that went for $25.8million.

'It doesn't get any better,' developer Arthur Zeckendorf told the New York Post. 'We have more than exceeded our expectations.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
