«Breaking News» Jackie Chan’s estranged daughter marries girlfriend

Jackie Chan's estranged lovechild has married her girlfriend after claiming earlier this year they were left homeless due to 'homophobic parents.' 

In posts shared on Instagram Monday, 19-year-old Etta Ng confirmed the news that she married Canadian partner, Andi Autumn, on November 8, sharing pictures of the happy couple's marriage certificate.

Although Etta is Jackie's love child, she regards him as a stranger and has said in the past that she will never consider him to be her real father following his brief affair with her mother in the late '90s.

The couple married in Canada before returning to Hong Kong, where Etta is from, according to reports.

Jackie has yet to comment publicly on his daughter's marriage, but his estranged daughter seems happy to just be focusing on celebrating her nuptials.

'There is nothing greater than true love found,' Etta wrote on Instagram when announcing the news, before revealing that the couple have since returned to her home country.

'With love we've returned. My home is Hong Kong, a beautiful city full of life and passion.' 

The women were both visions in white during the ceremony; each of them wore what appeared to be hoodies, while Andi, 31, accented her outfit with a veil.

Pictures from the wedding day show the couple holding hands and embracing before signing their marriage certificate to make their union official.

Andi also shared her own pictures and videos from the wedding, while speaking out about how Etta has changed her life.

'Back to Hong Kong as Wife & Wife,' Andi wrote. '@ettazen has given me the gift of being my true self and it's so hard to explain the change I feel...

'My whole life I thought I was toxic, she made me realize I was surrounded by negativity. 

'Now that its gone, this new feeling has taken over and I now know I deserve just as much as the world has to offer.'

Etta's mother, former beauty queen Elaine Ng Yi Lei, had an affair with Jackie in 1999 during his marriage to Taiwanese actress Joan Lin. He and Joan have been married since 1982, and they share a 35-year-old son, Jaycee Chan.

Following Elaine's pregnancy, Jackie held a press conference to address his affair with Elaine, who is nearly two decades his junior. 

'I have made a mistake that many men in the world make,' he said at the time.

The actor has an estimated net worth of $350 million but has never reportedly sought a relationship with his daughter, who was raised alone by her mother.

And in 2015, Etta told the Express that she would never consider the martial arts expert and on-screen star to be her real father.  

'He is not my dad. I have no feelings for him. He is my biological father but he is not in my life,' she said.

'He never existed in my life. I will never regard him as a father,' she added. 'I would not say that he is my dad. I would say, "Oh, Jackie Chan, an actor."'

Etta's marriage news comes less than a year after she and Andi claimed in a YouTube video that they had 'been homeless for a month due to homophobic parents'. 

In the clip, which was published in April, Etta is seen reading off of a sheet of paper while speaking to the camera.

'Hi I’m Jackie Chan’s daughter and this is my girlfriend Andi,' she says. 'We’ve been homeless for a month due to homophobic parents. We pretty much slept under a bridge, and other things.'

The two candidly expressed their fears of being separated because of their relationship if they went to sleep in government shelters.

They reportedly started dating in late 2017, just months after Etta publicly came out.

'I've asked all my friends for help,' Andi continues. 'I've asked all my family for help. Everyone just keeps sending us to the direction of shelters, where they know we will be split up.'

Andi went on to say that friends have stopped answering her phone calls.

Continuing the plea, Etta adds: 'I don't even understand. We've gone to the police, we've gone to the hospital, the food banks, LGBTQ community shelters and all of them just don't give a s**t.'

'Two people in love that share true love are trying not to get split apart and they're trying to f**k us over just because - I don't understand it - I love her.' 

Etta's mother has refuted the claim, telling the Asian news site Coconuts that they 'should go find work' if they don't have any money.  

'They shouldn’t film a clip telling others they are broke and who Etta’s father is,' she said. 'People all over the world work hard and don’t rely on someone else’s fame to get money.' 

According to Gay Times, Jackie was asked about his feelings towards Etta's coming out while promoting the film Foreigner.

'If she likes it that's fine,' he said. 

It remains unclear if the couple has figured out their housing situation since creating the video, which amassed more than 1.5 million views, since April.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
