David and Victoria Beckham (pictured) have been targeted by burglars at their second home in the Cotswolds for the second time in a month
The Beckhams' Cotswolds mansion has been targeted by burglars for the second time in a month.
The couple were not home when a man was chased off by seven security guards and two attack dogs in the early hours of November 14.
David, 43, and Victoria, 44, were left shaken after the second threat to their countryside retreat in the space of a month, reports The Sun.
The last attempted-break in happened on October 19 when the couple were travelling to Australia.
Both crimes are believed to be the work of a local gang who appear to be targeting their £6million luxury home whenever it's empty.
A source told the newspaper: 'Luckily they had laid on extra security after the last incident — including several staff and dogs — who were able to protect the property.
'Otherwise this could have had a very different outcome. They are re-evaluating their security again and will bring in more if they need to.'
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police confirmed they were called to reports of a 'man behaving suspiciously' near the property at 6.15am and are investigating.
No arrests have been made.

The last attempted-break in at their home in Great Tew, Oxfordshire (pictured) happened on October 19 when a gang of masked men were caught on CCTV
Officers were last scrambled to the Beckhams' home in Great Tew, Oxfordshire, four weeks ago after their 24 hour security surveillance team noticed a balaclava-clad gang of men on the property's CCTV.
Guests at the nearby Soho Farmhouse, which is just a stone's throw away and a favourite haunt of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, spotted them too and ran to scare them off.
David and Victoria are understood to have been on their way to Australia with son Romeo, 16, Cruz, 13, and Harper, 7, when the attempted break-in happened.
Hours later, Victoria was pictured looking distressed and speculation grew.

The gang used a ladder (pictured) to look into the windows of the upstairs of the house before running from the scene
It has now been revealed the mother-of-four was terrified over how close the gang came to getting inside her home.
A source said: 'David and Victoria are absolutely devastated by this. They are extremely protective of their family and their home life so the thought that people would intrude on that is just so upsetting for them.
'This has hit them hard. Victoria has been upset for the last couple of days about this, it has been so though for her.
'It is frightening and dreadful to think someone would be intruding on their personal space.
'David hates the fact he has to have such high tech and extremely tight security around him.
'He would love to be normal but his number one priority is to protect his wife, children and wider family.
'He is absolutely furious that he has now has to increase his security even more.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
