And Catherine Zeta-Jones certainly made a statement as she stepped out in New York on Tuesday morning. 

The Welsh actress, 49, commanded attention in a hot pink coat which she teamed with a sensational figure-hugging floral dress.

All eyes were on Catherine as she stepped out in the Big Apple chill in the striking pink and green floral midi-length number.

She wrapped up warm in the colourful coat which she she kept unbuttoned to show off her sensational sartorial choice underneath. 

Boosting her height in a pair of nude heels, Catherine looked in her element as she strutted along while her tousled brunette locks effortlessly caught the wind.

The movie star's age-defying features were enhanced with a striking coat of make-up and she shielded herself from the winter sun with a pair of chic cat-eye shades. 

Catherine's sighting comes after she revealed she was 'devastated' by the sexual harassment allegations made against her husband Michael Douglas.

The beauty said she was forced to have a 'very big conversation' with her husband, 74, while their children were in the room, after a former employee accused Michael of masturbating in front of her 30 years ago.

Catherine described how she was 'torn about where my absolute morals lie' following the allegations, but said 'there was nothing to back it up at all.'

The mother-of-two also admitted that she and Michael have 'had ups and downs in our marriage', but added 'I don’t throw the towel in very quickly on anything.'      

The A-list couple celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary this month and it's been claimed their kids - son Dylan, 18, and daughter Carys, 15 - want to follow their parents into the acting business.

Sharing his advice for his brood, Douglas told ET recently: 'Don't do it if the only thing that's going to make you happy is being a star.'

He went on: 'You gotta just love acting. The odds are so tough as it is, but if you have that passion, that joy. Look [at] me! I'm in my seventies now and it's so great.'

His latest role is as an aging acting coach on the Netflix original series the Kominsky Method in which he stars with Alan Arkin.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
