«Breaking News» Women have shared their amazing glow ups in a variety of before and after pictures

Makeup lovers have taken to Facebook to share incredible before and after photos that reveal their impressive transformations.

Posting to a group online, a group of Australian women have shown how they are able to completely transform themselves with a variety of beauty products - with spectacular results. 

Members of the page joked how different they look in the shots - referring to their 'catfish moments' which is a term to describe attracting people online by using misleading photos. 

FEMAIL has spoken to each of the women and shared some of their most drastic transformations to date.

Brittany McCarthy told FEMAIL she has been doing makeup her 'whole life' is an early childhood educator - she shared how she looked bare-faced (left) versus how she looked with a red lip look that took her an hour to create (right)

 Many women had fun with the challenge, posting photos of themselves pulling silly faces while wearing no makeup and comparing it to glammed up versions of themselves

In one before photo this young woman was wearing her chef uniform and pulling a silly face in the makeup-free selfie (left) which she compared to a photo of her with a light and natural makeup look, including bright red lips (right)

'Posted this one to Reddit and people deada** tried to say I was lying,' Emi Anastasia captioned the photo she shared in the group as people couldn't believe both photos were the same person

Many people who took part in the 'catfish moments' challenge tried to exaggerate how different they look as much as possible by pulling silly faces in the before shot

She compared it to when she's wearing light makeup and a bold red lip

Karley Mulder was one of the people who started the thread on Facebook and she told FEMAIL she taught herself makeup through watching a variety of YouTube tutorials and practicing on her friends and family

'I think adding rosehip oil to a foundation you find drying is an absolute lifesaver! Makes my drier foundations go on like a dream!' Karley told FEMAIL

Many commenters were blown away by everyone's makeup skills and wanted to learn their secrets to creating the looks that they shared

Another woman put her own twist on the challenge and applied makeup to half of her face to highlight the difference

Each post was met with compliments from other members sharing how impressed they were with each makeover

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
