«Breaking News» Woman gives birth to 15-pound girl seven years after she adopted because of slim chance of pregnancy

A New York woman gave birth to the biggest baby on record at her local hospital despite being told she had less than 15 percent chance of getting pregnant.

Joi Buckley delivered 15-lbs baby girl Harper - who weighed the same as a six-month-old child and already had a full head of hair - when she arrived on Monday.

'I knew she was going to be big, but I didn't anticipate no 15-pound baby,' she told WETM.

The tot was 15 pounds and 5 ounces to be exact. She was a lengthy 23-and-a-quarter inches too.

It means the infant is the largest Arnot Odgen Medical Center in Elmira has ever delivered.

The hospital was keeping the baby in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to monitor her sugar and oxygen levels this week.

Although the miracle child was more than her parents could wish for, the mother explained it was tough not to have been discharged already.

'It's definitely hard,' Buckley said. 'But I know that she won't be in forever, she'll be coming home soon.'

After all, little Harper has two siblings to meet.

Her parents adopted a girl after hearing seven years ago that their chances of naturally conceiving were very slim.

'I still had some resentment,' Buckley admitted. 'So and so is pregnant, they have six kids, why are they getting pregnant again?'

Then two years later the mother and her husband were shocked to discover she was pregnant.

It's no wonder Buckley predicted their daughter would be on the larger side; when she gave birth for the first time their son weighed in at 11 pounds.

'The thing I've always wanted to do is be a mom, and finding out the first time I was overjoyed,' Buckley shared.

The mother-of-three added advice for those yearning to conceive: 'Don't give up, cause it's right there. It's definitely right there 'cause my kids are total proof of that.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
