«Breaking News» Woman, 90, arrested for pointing a gun and threatening to kill her neighbor over leaves in the yard

Bessie Bowen, 90, of Memphis, Tennessee, was charged with aggravated assault and violating an order of protection for threatening to kill her neighbor over leaves on the property

Police arrested a 90-year-old woman after a feud with her neighbor allegedly escalated into an armed threat to kill her over leaves in the neighbor's yard.

Bessie Bowen of Memphis, Tennessee, was accused by the woman next door of coming to her house, pointing a gun at her and threatening to kill her due to the pile of leaves in the yard, WREG reported.

Police were called to the Bethel Grove neighborhood in Memphis by the alleged victim on Thursday morning. The woman claimed she had video and photos of Bowen pointing a firearm and making the threats.

Bowen was charged with aggravated assault and violation of an order of protection.

The neighbor had the order filed against Bowen stemming from a prior assault in June of last year.

'She's always been serious about her yard,' another shocked neighbor, who wished to remain unidentified, said of the incident. 'I never had a problem with her. I never seen or heard her do anything like that.'

Bowens, who lives in the home on the left, allegedly made her way over with a gun to complain to her neighbor on the right about the buildup of leaves on her lawn

The nonagenarian let the police search for the gun at her home, but they only found an empty holster, according to a court affidavit.

The lawn-care obsessed woman was still arrested over the feud, but Bowen was later released on her own recognizance.

'I hope they don't send her to jail,' the unnamed neighbor added. 'She's an old lady. Just serious about her yard.' 

According to another neighbor, Bowen is 'serious about her yard,' but he was shocked she may have gone so far as to threaten to shoot her neighbor

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
