Bobby Norris has revealed he was too scared to leave the house after he got slapped around the face in an unprovoked attack while shopping last month.
The TOWIE star, 27, was heading to a bank with his mum Kym in Westfield, London on Thursday February 21, when the woman delivered the blow.
A shell-shocked Bobby, who is filming in Thailand for the upcoming ITVBe series, spoke exclusively to MailOnline, saying he feels 'anxious, unconfident and paranoid' in the wake of the attack.
Attacked: Bobby Norris has revealed he was too scared to leave the house after he got slapped around the face in an unprovoked attack while shopping last month
'I was in a shopping centre chatting to my mum and a girl just slapped me around the face with the back of her hand and walked off,' Bobby said.
'I didn’t even see her, I just felt the back of her hand and she was gone. I was so shocked I just carried on going to the bank to pay a bill and I was in the queue when it hit me what had just happened.
'I was in so much shock I had to go to Pizza Express and get a pesto pasta to gather my thoughts, I make light of it but it has had a lasting affect.'

He added: 'It is scary to think you could be doing your shopping and get attacked. She didn’t even say anything to me which was the strangest thing.'
Bobby added the assault has left him feeling terrified about travelling into London, with him feeling so paralysed with fear that it nearly stopped him from leaving the house altogether.
'It did affect my confidence and I’m a lot more self-conscious now. I'm constantly aware or thinking about it if I’m on the tube or shopping on Oxford Street,' he said.
'I am now constantly looking around. It almost stopped me going out at first. I was supposed to meet someone and I couldn’t face going out because I had too much anxiety about getting on the tube.'
But the plucky reality star managed to summon-up his courage to force himself out of the house after refusing to let the bully get the better of him.
He told us: 'I thought if I don’t go out now this could become a big problem.
Scared: A shell-shocked Bobby says he feels 'anxious, unconfident and paranoid' in the wake of the attack
'They say if you come off a horse you have to get straight back on it and that’s what I did. I got straight back on the Central Line.'
Last month, the show stalwart took to Instagram to share the emotional story with his 793,000 followers as he stated: 'Guys I'm in shock. I'm just walking through Westfield and out of nowhere I've been slapped!'
Fans soon swarmed the comments on the video with pleas to know more information while others urged Bobby to go to the police and file a report.
Despite feeling shaken, Bobby didn't go to police. 'A lot of people have said I should have done but I didn’t for some reason. I did go to security,' he said.
'They have it on CCTV and the girls left the shopping centre straight after. If it happened again I would go to the police and if it had been more serious I would have done but I think I was in too much shock.'
Bobby, who is gay and openly discusses his sexuality on TOWIE, now questions whether it was a homophobic attack.
The reality star, who has been praised by viewers for helping them come to terms with their own sexual orientation, said: 'I've had a lot of homophobic abuse lately and it did happen just after I launched my petition about homophobic trolling.
'If it was it is really, really sad to think that in 2019 someone could slap you just for your sexuality.'
He defiantly added: 'Being born gay isn’t a choice but being homophobic is. I know Katie Price is trying to change the law and I fully support her. A lot does need doing.'
TOWIE will return next Sunday to ITVBe at 9pm.

A ...
It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
