«Breaking News» Taylor Swift’s stalker says he 'doesn't regret' breaking into her Manhattan apartment

Taylor Swift's accused stalker who broke into her New York apartment this week says he doesn't regret violently smashing a glass door to enter and ransack her home.

Roger Alvarado, 22, broke into the pop singer's Tribeca townhouse on Thursday at 2.20am and was arrested and charged with stalking, burglary and felony criminal contempt for violating an order of protection.

But when asked if he'd do it again, he said 'Probably, with more violence, but not towards her.'

'I don’t want to hurt her. I just wanted to speak to her, to talk to her. She seems nice [and] cool,' he said with 'crazed eyes' to PageSix from jail.

Alvarado has long been obsessed with the Bad Blood singer and Thursday's break in marked the third time he forced entry into the pop star's home.

He entered the 29-year-old singer's apartment by climbing a ladder and smashing a second floor glass patio door with a concrete block to enter the home.

Then he allegedly ransacked her apartment, according to cops, just 30 days after he was released from jail for an earlier break-in at Swift's home.

He was arrested in April 2018 for breaking into Swift's apartment, using her shower and napping on her bed.

In that case he pleaded guilty to criminal contempt and burglary and was sentenced to six months in jail and five year's probation in Florida and ordered to complete mental health treatment.

Thursday's attack broke his probation.

Alvarado, of Homestead, Florida, was in Miami earlier this week until Wednesday, when he decided to visit New York and stopped at Swift's apartment.

At first he rang the doorbell and another woman answered and peeked outside the door then backed away 'like she was scared', according to Alvarado.

The singer spoke out on having a stalker in a previous interview. When asked about that interview, Alvarado allegedly beamed.

'Does she say my name?' he asked on being acknowledged by the star.

Still Alvarado hasn't revealed the reason behind his obsession with Swift.

'I'm not a superfan. I listen to a lot of hip-hop,' he, adding that his favorite albums of hers are 1989 and Reputation.

When asked why he doesn't try to meet Swift at a concert or without breaking into her home he said: 'Oh, I didn't think of that. I guess I should have done that first.'

A message requesting comment was emailed to Swift's representative.

This incident comes after Swift recently revealed that she was so shaken by the deadly suicide bomb attack at Ariana Grande's Manchester concert, that she increased her security at shows and carried gun-wound bandages with her wherever she went.

Swift is also no stranger to stalkers, which has prompted her to up her security measures.

In September 2018, she was granted a restraining order on stalker of two years, 26-year-old Eric Swarbrick who had been sending the star letters since 2016.

In one he declared: 'I want to rape Taylor Swift. This is why I hate Taylor herself ... This is how I know I am Taylor's soulmate.'

He said: 'I will not hesitate to kill her ... and there's nothing you, your lawyers, or the law will be about to do about it. Remember who I am.'

In April 2018, Julius Alexander Sandrock, was arrested for felony stalking for trying to break into her home, wearing a mask and rubber gloves was a knife, live ammunition, and black rope.

The 38-year-old told police he had driven across several states to meet the star, who was not home at the time of the incident.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
