«Breaking News» Michael Aspel, 86, looks incredibly suave as he enjoys a walk in the park with his love Irene

He has had a flourishing career in the entertainment industry starring on shows from Crackerjack to Antiques Roadshow. 

And Michael Aspel looked dashing as he joined his ladylove Irene for a stroll in the leafy park, in Surrey on Saturday.

The This Is Your Life star, 86, who retired from a career in showbiz more than a decade ago in 2008, was incredibly suave on his low-key walk.

As he made the most of spell of Surrey sunshine, the personality was more than content in the charming company of his partner.

The long-time couple were stylishly in sync as they both donned biscuit coloured coats to keep off the slight chill to the air.

Michael first laid eyes on Irene when she worked as a production assistant on This Is Your Life and they are still together 25 years later.

The TV star has had a turbulent time with love, having been married three times; he also raises seven children with different mothers.

Crackerjack's Michael walked down the aisle full of hope for the first time to Dian Sessions in 1957 but they divorced in 1961.

The presenter gave love a second go when he married TV scriptwriter Anne Reed in 1962 but their romance wasn't meant to last as they parted in 1967.

Michael tied the knot for the third time with actress Elizabeth Power but he left her for his current ladylove Irene. 

Before finding fame, he started out as a newsreader in Cardiff before he became a lead anchor on the BBC national channel. 

Veteran broadcaster Michael hosted his own show Aspel & Company on which he interviewed high profile guests from Margaret Thatcher to members of the Beatles.

Other notable achievements of his include his eight-year stint presenting on the Antiques Roadshow until 2008.

In February 2013, Michael revealed he is happiest when he is in the 'warm' comforts of the study of his riverside apartment in Surrey.

He told FEMAIL: 'My study may be tiny but it has a real sense of warmth, like a little snug. I keep my awards here and this, the very first, is the most handsome of all. 

'It was from the Royal National Institute for the Deaf in 1965 for clear diction and a few of us newsreaders got it: Richard Baker, Robert Dougall, Kenneth Kendall and myself, but that didn’t make it any less joyful to receive. 

'It was given to me at a grand affair at The Dorchester. Everybody clapped like mad and I felt on top of the world.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
