This house in Palm Springs has 'California cool' written all over it.
Built in 1969 in the Twin Palms neighborhood, the 3,350-square-foot home is rather like walking into a rainbow with each room decorated in a different color and then put on overdrive.
The three-bedroom, three-bathroom home, sold for $800,000 back in 2017 and is now on the market for $1.7 million. Taking a look around it feels as though it is a living time-capsule.
Originally built in 1969, this Hollywood Regency is a one-of-a-kind Time Capsule with the furnishings of the 1970s inside
The listing states: 'The home captures your heart, mind and soul upon entering this Twin Palms Estate of a different era'
The home has been meticulously maintained and restored with no detail left undone. Everything is in pristine condition
The 3,350-square-foot home on South Joshua Tree Place in Palm Springs has been painstakingly restored
The master bedroom is a vibrant magenta and comes with vintage velvet flocked wallpaper, and colorful shag carpets
The bright, magenta theme is all-encompassing in the master bedroom of the home with no surface left untouched
The master bedroom and bathroom are bathed in exotic hues of pink, reminiscent of Elvis himself
You can truly be 'In The Pink' when diving into this sunken bathtub in this very bright and loud bathroom
Even escaping to the dressing room to do your makeup leaves you unable to avoid the thick magenta carpet
Best of all, the house comes completely furnished so the new buyer won't have to search all over for those difficult-to-find acid-hued floral sofas or macramé wall hangings.
The price includes everything 'down to the coffee table books and the booze in the bar,' according to Kenny Jervis with Berkshire Hathaway HomeService, 'And the jukebox actually works.'
The listing is 'being pitched to all kinds of newspapers around the U.S.,' Jervis said to the Seattle Post Intelligencer. 'We're targeting the New York–L.A. movie types, the urbanites who want a time capsule. Lots of the L.A. movie crowd all have houses in Palm Springs.
'Ten percent of the country loves this design but only 1% can afford it,' Jervis says. 'We've had really great interest but no physical offers yet.'
The home is very 1970s – with much of it not being changed in more than 40 years
The place sleeps up to six people in three bedrooms. Closing your eyes at night will be the only way to avoid the colors!
Across the hallway is the green bedroom. This is all very similar to the pink bedroom, but just in green!
Every type of green furnishing and decoration is here from green suitcases and cushions to green stripes and checks
The green theme continues in the bathroom where stripes line the walls, many of which are reflected in the mirror
A nearby dining room is also bathed in shades of green with a double chandelier hanging from the ceiling
If it's ever cloudy in Southern California then this room is surely nothing but permanent sunshine
Glorious canary-like yellow fills this room with stunning views of the perfectly manicured garden beyond
'Two guys flew out from New York last week,' says Jervis. 'They fell in love with it and then disappeared.'
If the home looks familiar, it's because it was featured on the Netflix show Stay Here, and the property was also available as an Airbnb rental for $1,100 per night according to Realtor.com.
' Every detail of the house is in perfect condition and shape,' says Jervis. 'There's very little wear and tear.'
The home has some truly standout features including an all-pink master bath, vintage velvet-flocked wallpaper in the entryway and den, and shag carpeting just as was the fashion in the 1970s.
The blue room is surely the most modest of all the bedrooms in the home with its very conservative approach
The blue room feels cool, comfortable and spacious offering an easy entryway to the pool deck just beyond the patio door
The bed looks soft enough to sleep on, but then even the carpet looks so thick you'd be fine sleeping on there too!
Blue and green should never been seen, so it's a good thing it's just green, green and more green in this reception room
A three-seat bar next to the jukebox features wood paneling as a backdrop along with a fabulous shag carpet in the den
The purchase price includes everything 'down to the coffee table books and the booze in the bar,' according to Jervis. 'And the jukebox actually works.'
The home is a great venue for entertaining with a bar complete with three seats alongside a working jukebox.
Despite the vintage feel the kitchen has been updated with Caesarstone countertops and hand-painted Moroccan tile flooring.
Outside is equally as entertaining with hedges, white rock, flowerbeds, ficus trees and stunning views of the mountains beyond.
Recent upgrades to the homes amenities tastefully contrast the otherwise Time Capsule-Like appearance
Newer gourmet vintage high end appliances in the kitchen ensure that the mid-century modern theme continues in this room
Hand Painted Moroccan tile flooring is new in the kitchen. Ceasar-stone countertops compliment the cool toned cabinets
A floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace in the living room is joined by wood paneling on the walls
This room looks to have been unchanged in the nearly 50 years that the home has been standing. The TV has a leather frame!
Outdoor entertaining will be a breeze for the next owners. 'Everything is wrapped around the pool to enhance the mountain views,' says Jervis
The home was brought to the attention of the nation last year when designer Genevieve Gorder and real estate expert Peter Lorimer transformed the property in Episode 7 of the series Stay Here, entitled 'Palm Springs Time Machine.'
The property's exterior exhibits the best of the midcentury modern design period featuring a vibrant white rock wall
There are lush flowerbeds, a recently renovated pool & spa, with 15 ft Mature Ficus Trees and lush hedges surround the deck
The place is ready to be occupied. The buyer will need to decide whether to live there or run it as a lucrative vacation rental
The house, built in 1969, was featured on the Netflix show 'Stay Here,' and was listed on Airbnb for about $1,000-a-night
'Every detail of the house is in perfect condition and shape,' Kenny Jervis with Berkshire Hathaway HomeService told Realtor.com. 'There's very little wear and tear.'

The three-bedroom, ...
It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
