«Breaking News» Luke Perry's family 'thought he could pull out of heavy sedation after two days'

Luke Perry passed away on Monday at the age of 52 due to a massive stroke.


And according to Us Weekly, after the legendary actor was rushed to the hospital, he was placed under heavy sedation in order to let his brain have a chance to heal.


His family thought the doctors could 'pull him out of it after two days or so' but he 'never recovered,' the source said.

They made the difficult decision on Monday, March 4 to take him off of life support, five days after his stroke, Us Weekly reported.


Adding: 'It was devastating.'

Luke never regained consciousness following his stroke last week, People reported.


He was surrounded by his loved ones, including his two children Jack, 21, and Sophie, 18, his ex-wife Rachel 'Minnie' Sharp, his fiancee Wendy Madison Bauer, his mom Ann Bennett, stepfather Steve Bennett, and his siblings Amy Coder and Tom Perry.


Luke and Minnie married on November 20, 1993; they welcomed their children in 1997 and in 2000.

The duo divorced in 2003.


Luke had a massive stroke on February 27 at his home in Sherman Oaks, and was rushed to the hospital in Burbank, California.


The beloved star reportedly 'left everything to his two children,' according to Radar Online on Tuesday.


Luke became a household name in the late eighties as Dylan McKay on the iconic series, Beverly Hills, 90210.

Most recently, he played Frederick 'Fred' Andrews, the father of Archie - on the hit series Riverdale.


His last film role was in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, which is set to be released on July 26, 2019.


Luke played the character Wayne Maunder.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
