During his joint appearance with co-judge Gregg Wallace, the MasterChef star, 53, also teased viewers with details about the competition series' quarter-finals, which will see contestants get their first taste of professional cooking at Ella Canta.

The Australian chef, who has been dating the EastEnders actress, 47, since 2015, gushed over his recent engagement: 'She said yes which was really lovely!'
However, John revealed Lisa was left so stunned she waited three hours before accepting the festive proposal.
The restaurateur told hosts Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway: 'She didn't yes for three and a half hours! She was so gobsmacked and I said, "are you gonna say yes?" She said, "I haven't said yes yet?".
'Things are sort of moving in the right direction, but we're really busy', he added.

Close pal Gregg, 54, chimed in: 'I've been invited, I'll bring baby Sid, actually I might leave Sid with his grandmother. '
Gregg is expecting his first child with his wife Anne-Marie, 32, after trying for two years to conceive.
Sharing details about the upcoming arrival, he enthused: 'Baby Sid's on his way. I've seen the scans, I know what he looks like, he's a Sid!'

The pair went on to discuss the show's upcoming episode, set to air on Thursday evening.
Gregg explained: 'As much as you cook at home nothing can prepare you for that sort of precision at that speed.'
'Every single plate has to be exactly the same, otherwise you get dinner envy, it's got to be spot on. The contestants have never cooked in a professional kitchen before, they've never been in this environment.'
John's appearance on the ITV show comes after Lisa revealed it was a 'complete surprise' when TV personality John got down on bended knee - and she couldn't be happier.

She told Closer magazine: 'I've just got engaged to John after nine years and I am absolutely delighted! He proposed on Christmas Day and it was a complete surprise.
'2019 is going to be quite a year and I'm going to embrace every minute of it.'
Reminiscing about when the couple first met, Lisa admitted she would never have guessed they would have ended up together.
'We met when I was a contestant on Celebrity Masterchef in 2010, but I never expected to go on to win, let alone that it would lead to a relationship!', she enthused.

Lisa explained that they'd waited to tell close family members, before making the news public.
Alongside a sweet snap of the pair, she wrote: 'My gorgeous John completely surprised me on Christmas Day and asked me to marry him!
'After waiting to tell our family when we got home we then had a few days just grinning at each other!!
'I'm so very happy to share our lovely news with you. Happy 2019 it's going to be quite a year and I'm going to embrace every minute of it. All you need is love. Love is all you need.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
