«Breaking News» Ivanka Trump eats Chinese takeout on top of her kitchen counter with her youngest son Theodore

Ivanka Trump enjoyed a night in with her nearly three-year-old son Theodore on Tuesday while her husband Jared Kushner was out for the evening.

The 37-year-old first daughter took to Instagram to share a photo of herself sitting on her kitchen counter in sweats while eating Chinese takeout with her youngest child.

'When Dad’s away...' she captioned the image, which shows Theo happily eating out of her takeout container.

The little boy, who turns three years old next week, is wearing navy and white striped pajamas while sitting on top of the kitchen island with his mom.

Ivanka is also dressed casually in a zip-up sweatshirt and leggings, and she is smiling at Theo as they enjoy their meal together.

Although she and her son are sharing one container, the counter is littered with takeout, including packets of soy sauce.

It's unclear where Jared, 38, was that evening or if their two eldest children Arabella, seven, and Joseph, five, had joined them for dinner.

The White House senior adviser, who usually heads to work early in the morning, got a late start the next day.

Jared was seen stepping out of the front gate of their Washington D.C. home at about 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday.

He looked patriotic in a navy suit, light blue button-down, and red tie, and he carried a black work bag in his left hand.

The father-of-three flashed a smile as he made his way into the Secret SUV parked right in front of his door.

Ten minutes later, Ivanka left home in Secret Service SUV straight from their garage.

The couple is celebrating the Jewish holiday of Purim, which started on Wednesday evening and ends on Thursday.

Purim commemorates the defeat of Haman's plot to massacre the Jews as recorded in the book of Esther in the Bible.

Ivanka converted to Judaism to marry Jared, and CNN's Betsy Klein revealed on Wednesday that the couple gifted White House reporters with hamantaschen in honor of the holiday.

The journalist tweeted photos of the pastry and the gift bag it came in, writing: 'When @IvankaTrump & fam send the White House press corps hamentaschen.'

The triangular cookies, which are typically filled with either poppy seed, raspberry or apricot preserves, are a staple during Purim.

The treats were stored in a muslin bag and topped with a white gift tag that read: 'Happy Purim 2019, The Kushners - Jared, Ivanka, Arabella, Joseph, & Theodore.'

In a follow-up tweet, Betsy added: 'I should note this comes literally minutes after the President lambasted the media on the White House South Lawn.'

Wednesday also happened to be Barren Trump's 13th birthday, but neither Ivanka nor any of her siblings paid tribute to their half brother on social media.

However, their stepmother, first lady Melania, took to Twitter and Instagram in the morning to pay tribute to her only child on his milestone 13th birthday.

'Happy Birthday BWT,' she captioned an image of rose gold Mylar balloons that are held together to make the number '13.'

The proud mom ended the post with three heart emoji.

Ivanka's discreet exit from her home on Wednesday morning was a far cry from the fashionable display she put on when she headed to work s few days before.

The first daughter had a smile on her face when she stepped out of the front gate of her Washington, D.C. home on Monday.

The mom donned head-to-toe black as she headed to work in a cropped jacket with an origami design at the collar and high-waisted dress pants that stopped right above her ankles.

Ivanka topped off the look with a pair of classic black patent leather stilettos and a $3,400 Chanel Executive Tote that she carried in her right hand.

The White House senior adviser appeared to be in good spirits when she left the front gate of her home at 8:30 a.m.

She flashed a smile as she made her way to the Secret Service SUV parked at the curb, though she didn't wave to the photographers outside of her door like she sometimes does.

Ivanka's long blonde hair was center-parted and straight, falling loose around her shoulders. She sported smokey brown eye make-up, which she paired with a natural-looking pink lip.

The Trump administration presented its proposals on the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act on Monday, and the first daughter appeared at an event that discussed college affordability.

'We look forward to working with bipartisan Members of Congress on comprehensive #HigherEducationAct reform to make higher education more affordable, flexible and outcome-oriented,' she wrote on Instagram Monday.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
