Princess Gloria von Thurn and Taxis, born Countess Gloria von Schoenburg-Glauchau, greeted guests with a smile in her iconic red glasses and a fur coat as she clutched an order of service book.

Maya von Schoenburg was also a firm favourite with the Royal Family, and Prince Michael of Kent, 76, paid his respects yesterday.

Prince Charles was said to have 'loved Maya dearly' and they were often pictured together.

A family member said: ‘The Prince of Wales, who really loved Maya dearly, explicitly asked Lord Freddie Windsor to attend as his representative.’

Other royals on show were Lady Gabriella Windsor, Lord Fredrick Windsor, as well as the Duchess of Cornwall's sister Annabel Elliot.

But all eyes were on fashion guru Trinny Woodall, who paraded a canary-yellow trouser suit, platform trainers and a fluffy white coat.

The famous mourners listened to Mozart’s Requiem during Mass and after the service a bagpiper played The Dark Island and other laments as guests walked from the Oratory to the Lodge.

Other notable names in attendance included ex-Made In Chelsea star Hugo Taylor, 32, French financier Arpad Busson, film producer Jemima Goldsmith, 45, the interior designer socialite Nicky Haslam, former BBC presenter Alan Yentob, businessman Robin Birley and hotelier Sir Rocco Forte.

Ms von Schoenburg fought a prolonged battle with lung cancer.

She was diagnosed with the disease six years ago but died next to her mother Beatrix Maria von Schoenburg-Glauchau, 88, in Munich.

Her son Alex posted a tribute on his Instagram page next to seven pictures of her.

He wrote: 'Yesterday, Sunday 27.01.19 at 12:05 Maya (60) my mother, passed out of this world and into another.

'After six hard years of battling cancer, her breathing became gentler, her eyes closed and she slipped away peacefully.

'Mama, you where the most important person in my life. You bore me, raised me, taught me, understood me and forgave me.'

He continued: 'In short; you where my everything. The sadness I feel now is incomparable to anything I have ever felt before, my heart cut by a spear.

'You where unique in wit, spirit and your presence alone lit up any room. Your warmth and young soul brought you friends from presidents to teenage girls forever influenced by your magnetic charm and glamour.

'You lived the fullest life i ever saw, and where nothing short of a force of nature.

'On the day of your passing there was an outpouring of grief which spread like wildfire, it exists alongside an overwhelming honour at having known you. You where at times a complicated mother but always and forever my shining light.'

He added: 'You imbued me with this faith and although I rebelled against it often, in the end it is the greatest solace I feel now that you have died. You are in a better place.'

And her brother Alexander von Schoenburg-Glauchau, 49, told German newspaper Bild: 'A part of me has died, Maya was my twin, born on the same day, on the 15th of August, only 11years before me.

'Where she was, there was the centre of action,' he added.

Ms von Schoenburg was buried at St. Anna's Ladies' Cathedral, Munich, on February 2.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
