«Breaking News» Gwyneth Paltrow cuts a chic figure in belted navy dress with her glasses at SXSW eye health event

She's put her acting career on hold in recent years, instead focusing on goop, her modern lifestyle brand.

On Sunday, Gwyneth Paltrow went back to rubbing elbows with her fellow Hollywood stars in Austin, Texas, for the 2019 South by Southwest Festival.

The 46-year-old actress dropped by the Vision Council's health event, a gathering to share tips for eye health and to promote the latest eyeglass fashions.

The 5ft9in Oscar winner went with a chic navy blue dress belted at her midriff for the celebrity-filled event.

The button-up outfit was undone at the top and featured pockets over the chest. 

Gwyneth's golden hair framed a pair of wire framed aviator glasses.

The Se7en star wore an elegant pair of black heels to to off her outfit.

The Sliding Doors star kept busy over the weekend, as she had to fly to Texas for the Sunday event after making a cameo appearance on Saturday Night Live the night before.

She had a short role during the Weekend Update segment as a hapless employee for Goop, Gwyneth's lifestyle company.

She hilariously lampooned her mostly science- and evidence-free products, including a salt scrub.

After she was reduced to trying to explain what salt was, co-host Michael Che responded that he knew what salt was, to which she replied 'So you know it's angry sugar?'

In a recent New York Times Interview, Gwyneth opined on topics ranging from the possible medical applications of psychedelic drugs to the increased prevalence of gluten-free diets (which she took credit for).

Last year, she tied the knot with Brad Falchuk, 48, the writer best known for creating Glee and American Horror Story with Ryan Murphy.

She was famously married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 42, from 2003-2016. The two 'consciously uncoupled' during the dissolution of their union, but they've continued to co-parent and entwine their diverging families.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
