«Breaking News» Gogglebox refuses to show controversial Michael Jackson documentary Leaving Neverland

Gogglebox has refused to show the controversial Michael Jackson documentary Leaving Neverland to the cast of the programme, it has been revealed.

The four-hour documentary was aired on Channel 4 last week - and it details sexual assault allegations made by Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who both knew the King of Pop as children in the late 1980s.

But despite it being produced and aired by Channel 4 - a spokesperson confirmed to The Sun that it would not be discussed by the cast of Gogglebox on Friday.

MailOnline has contacted Channel 4 for further comment.

The two-part documentary, which features the testimonies of Wade and James, contains disturbing allegations about the boys' relationship with the Thriller singer as children.

James was ten-years-old when he met Jackson in 1986 on the set of a Pepsi advert.

He alleges that the singer, who throughout his life denied any allegations of sexually abusing children, showered him with gifts while grooming both him and his family.

Wade, an Australian, was five when he first met Jackson after winning a dance competition in Brisbane. He alleges similar abuse.

The first part of the two-part documentary received 31 complaints to the broadcast regulator Ofcom.

And, despite Channel 4 bosses refusing to show the series to the Gogglebox cast, it did feature in an episode of the series' Australian counterpart.

In the documentary, James' mother Stephanie said: 'I didn't protect my son. That will always, always haunt me. I had one job, I had one child … and I f***ed up.'

Jackson's family has condemned the documentary a 'public lynching' - insisting that the late performer was '100 per cent innocent'.

It has since emerged that the children of Michael Jackson are considering suing the alleged victims over a number of grounds, including emotional distress.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
