A former Fox News reporter plans to share documents with a House investigative committee demanding information about any women 'alleging extramarital affairs with Donald Trump' or hush payments to silence them.
Diana Falzone, a former Fox entertainment reporter, spent months hunting down the Stormy Daniels story in 2016, only to have network brass decide not to run a story, the New Yorker reported.
During her reporting, she confirmed the story with Daniels' team, obtained emails between the porn star and former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, and even ran down the cash settlement payment (Daniels ultimately got $130,000), according to the account.

House Oversight Chairman Rep. Elijah Cummings on Thursday night demanded Falzone turn over information to his panel, and Falzone's lawyer says she will comply, citing the inquiry, not withstanding Falzone's own non-disclosure agreement with the network, President Trump's favorite.
'The law requires that you be allowed to participate in any government investigation — and no NDA can stop that,' Smith told MSNBC.
The letter seeks documents relating to President Trump's reporting of debts and payments 'to silence women alleging extramarital affairs with him prior to the 2016 presidential election.'
Cummings also wants documents relating to hush payments or 'a potential campaign finance violation' – a reference to contribution limits and disclosure laws Cohen admitted he broke by making the $130,000 payment weeks before the November 2016 elections.
Cohen in May heads to jail in part for the campaign finance violation that occurred. He testified that Trump directed him to make the payment to Daniels, and furnished checks Trump wrote him for reimbursement.

Cummings also wants all 'discovery materials' connected to Falzone's lawsuit against her former employer – a category that would presumably bring up her reporting on Daniels. He also seeks materials on 'any action taken against you in connection with attempts to report on such stories' – a reference to her firing, which Falzone claims was connected to her reporting.
Cummings is also seeking to interview Falzone, and requests an answer within weeks.
The lawyer, Smith, on MSNBC Thursday night termed Fox's response, that the Stormy Daniels story was not ready for publication, a 'lie.'

“We’ll see what the evidence shows about how Fox reacted to this story,' she said.
Earlier, Smith floated the idea of a congressional subpoena to flush out the information.
'Maybe Congress should subpoena my client and all of her records. and then we will see exactly what Fox News had.
'A valid government investigation also trumps an NDA,' she told MSBNC's Ari Melber. She called it an exception and said she would comply.
She also said her client would participate in an interview.
'We expect that perhaps the sources of Jane Mayer's article in the New Yorker were very good sources,' Smith said, although she said the sources were not her client.
President Donald Trump tweeted about Fox News programs twice on Friday. His former deputy chief of staff, was a top Fox News executive. However Shine abruptly resigned last week and joined Trump's campaign.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
