«Breaking News» Five suspected gang members charged after they 'stabbed and carjacked a pregnant school teacher'

Five suspected gang members have been accused of attempted murder after they allegedly stabbed a pregnant school teacher stole her car last week.


First grade teacher Tanya Nguyen, 33, was parking her car in front of her home in Sunland, California, around 6pm on March 20 when she was attacked and stabbed ten times, including in her face.


Christian Reyes, 20, Andrew Bran, 19, and Jesus Morales, 18, allegedly launched the attack, which was caught on dash camera footage, as Nguyen screamed 'I’m pregnant!'


Nguyen, who is 12 weeks pregnant with her first baby, suffered a punctured lung and lost her front teeth in the vicious attack.

The men allegedly got Nguyen out of her Kia sedan before driving away. They are said to have later violently crashed into a parked car, then fled the scene on foot. 


The three men along with suspected accomplices Christina Luna, 24, and Monica Gomez, 25, were arraigned on Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, according to Fox


Luna and Gomez are suspected of waiting nearby the ambush scene in a getaway car. 


All five were charged with one count of attempted murder, carjacking, second-degree robbery and misdemeanor hit-and-run driving resulting in property damage.

Reyes faced a separate count of aggravated mayhem and alleged personal use of a deadly and dangerous weapon.


Reyes bail was set at $1.9million and the other four defendants were suggested to have theirs set at $1.4million. Luna was given an additional $75,000 because of a 'probation matter.'


If convicted, they all face a maximum sentence of life in prison. 


At the hearing all five agreed to waive time for an arraignment plea until April 17. 


Nguyen is a married teacher at Good Shepherd Catholic School in Beverly Hills.

She was treated for her injuries, underwent a surgery on Sunday, and was released from the hospital over the weekend. The condition of the baby is not clear. 


A GoFundMe page has been set up to cover her medical expenses and has raised $46,602 of its $100,000 goal by Wednesday evening. 


She shared a video on YouTube and Facebook thanking the community for the outpour of compassion on Sunday where she nearly broke down in tears as she said 'thank you so much for all your love and support'. 


'I'm completely overwhelmed by it and very grateful for all of your support and being there through this time. I'm going to get through this, I promise,' she said.   


L.A. police are still investigating the assault.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
