With matching advertising campaigns, Instagram habits and even the same stylist, TV favourites Holly Willoughby and Amanda Holden are very fashionable — and highly paid — peas in a pod.
They live within four miles of each other in London, both recently celebrated a decade of marriage and have each sat on the This Morning sofa alongside Phillip Schofield — with Amanda standing in for Holly.
Both are ITV stalwarts and good friends with Ant and Dec.
Now, Amanda, 48, has taken on 38-year-old Holly in the fashion stakes, not only launching her own range of clothes for Fenn Wright Manson — to rival Holly’s line for Marks & Spencer — but even echoing her tagline ‘Holly’s Must-Haves’ with ‘Mandy’s Must-Haves’.
So, how do these powerhouses of blonde ambition match up? ALISON BOSHOFF investigates . . .
THE MATCHING MUST-HAVES
Holly’s M&S clothing range is sold as ‘Holly’s Must-Haves’. Her recent 15-piece ‘denim edit’ caused a sensation, with the £55 cotton boiler suit already selling out.
The £32.50 denim shirt with puff sleeves has sold out in most sizes, and the edit includes a denim shirt midi dress at £49.50 that’s proving popular.
Amanda’s favourites at label Fenn Wright Manson are three times as expensive. In an association that she plugged on Instagram this week, she sings the praises of a £199 denim jumpsuit, styled rather differently to Holly’s plain one.
Amanda is currently working with M&S too — to promote its Plant Kitchen vegan food.

LOVES OF THEIR LIVES
Holly has been married for a little longer than Amanda. She and TV executive Dan Baldwin wed in August 2007, while Amanda and music executive Chris Hughes married in December 2008.
Both celebrated their ten-year milestones in style, with Amanda and Chris hosting a party at Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds and holidaying in the Maldives.
Amanda wrote on Instagram: ‘Ten years ago this man made me the happiest girl in the world.’ Her earlier marriage to actor Les Dennis had ended in divorce after eight years, following her fling with Neil Morrissey.
Meanwhile, Dan was Holly’s boss on kids’ TV show Ministry Of Mayhem, where she got her big break. The pair celebrated their tenth anniversary with a romantic holiday.

VELVET CUSHIONS VS DREAMY DUVETS
Amanda has the BundleBerry range of homeware at QVC. Offerings include a fake fur pouffe and a £25 velvet cushion.
While her home in posh Richmond includes Bundleberry items, her tastes are a little more expensive. She recently showed off a makeover of her dining room, which features a floating Barker & Stonehouse chandelier costing £5,225.
Holly, who lives in nearby Barnes, has a range of ultra-feminine bedlinen at Dunelm. A double duvet cover costs £55.
POTTY FOR THEIR PETS
Both Holly and Amanda enjoy posting pictures on Instagram of their pets.
Holly has a Siamese cat called Bluebell, while Amanda has dogs Rudie and Buddy. Holden has said that they join in when she has yoga sessions at home.
Holly has 5.2 million Instagram followers and Amanda 1 million.

RIVALS ON THE THIS MORNING SOFA
Amanda stood in on This Morning with co-host Phillip Schofield in 2014 when Holly was on maternity leave.
However, in November last year, when Holly went to Australia to present I’m A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here! it was Rochelle Humes, 29, who got the role of stand-in.

A source said that ITV executives explained to her over a lunch that they couldn’t follow through with an offer to her — because Phillip didn’t want her.
It’s said that she confronted Schofield after an interview on This Morning on October 8 — Amanda had appeared to talk about her work with the baby charity Tommy’s.
Holly has been co-presenting This Morning with Phillip since 2009. She was his choice after they began working together on Dancing On Ice in 2006.

Both women are sun-lovers who adore a holiday.
They regularly provoke envy among their fans by posting online sun-kissed pictures of themselves posing on yachts or by swimming pools.
Holly was loving the ocean wave in St Tropez in 2017, while Amanda took to the yacht life off the Greek isle of Corfu last summer.

Holly is friends with Ant and Dec — they share the same agent and socialise together.

Holly has sold everything from Diet Coke and Optiwell yoghurt drinks, to Oral-B toothpaste, the Microsoft Windows Phone and Pretty Polly Tights, and has also been the face of retailer Very.
In her early years, she advertised Always sanitary protection.
She is currently in the fifth year of a lucrative contract with beauty brand Garnier, selling its hair colour and BB cream, for which she’s paid £500,000 a year.
Amanda sells Oykos yoghurt and fronted a campaign for Alpen muesli. She also featured in a Christmas TV advert for Tesco.
Holly is said to be worth £10 million and is the highest-paid woman on British TV. Amanda is thought to be worth around £6 million.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
