West Midlands Police said it had not received reports of a woman being robbed.

The clip begins with the man on the ground, with one of the vigilantes holding him down with his knee across his neck.

One of them says: 'This is the guy, who just attacked a Muslim sister in Ward End Park. The police are on their way.

'You're not going to go nowhere, you understand. We will not allow any woman to be attacked in our areas.'

Still covering his face, the man tries to move and sit up but the man holding him down continues to push with more force.

He says: 'Stop resisting. Stop resisting or I'm going to smash your head. Don't resist or I'll break your f****** jaw. I'll smash your f******jaw.'

The man curls up into a ball at the side of the grass verge, covering his face with his hand and staring down into the ground.

The man filming says: 'Make sure all the women are safe in our areas. We need to protect them from p****s like this.'

Viewers have been divided over the footage after it was posted on Facebook, with some commending the men's actions and others slamming them for recording the attack.

Zaf Mohammed wrote: 'Nice one. This f*** needs a good kick in.'

But Syd Femtino commented: 'Attacked? What's your definition of attack. Bravo you detained him til police came but I have a problem with video recording and putting his image on social media. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? There are always two sides of an argument.'

West Midlands Police said: 'Police are investigating a report of a robbery of a woman in Ward End Park , Birmingham which took place just before 12pm on 31 January.

'We are appealing for the victim to come forward.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
