Donald Trump has cooled expectations ahead of his second meeting with North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un next week - insisting he's in 'no rush' to denuclearize the socialist state.
The President will be flying to Hanoi this week to meet with Kim - who he once called 'Rocket man' - to discuss nuclear disarmament, and he's expected to offer partial sanction relief to North Korea in return.
Speaking at the Governor's Ball at the White House on Sunday Evening, Trump remained coy on the two-and-a-half day summit's specific itinerary, but promised it would be 'interesting'.
'What's going to happen, I can't tell you,' Trump teased.
'I'm not in a rush, I don't want to rush anybody, I just don't want testing.
'As long as there's no testing, we're happy.'

Mr. Trump remained coy on the specific itinerary for the two and a half day summit, but said it was guaranteed to be 'interesting'
Trump will fly to Pyongyang this week and will sit down with Kim Jong Un for the second time in less than a year, as the President tries to further develop his historic relationship with the dictator
Their last meeting ended in a stalemate but Trump believes there's room for improvement this time around
Trump also claimed that he and Kim have developed a 'very good' relationship since their historic meeting in Singapore last June.
He said that despite their ideological differences the pair do manage to see 'eye to eye' on a number of matters.
The 45th US President says he believes he can utilize that special relationship to 'have a chance' at complete denuclearization.
The statement was then followed by a flip-flopping of indecision Trump is so regularly criticized for ahead of high-stakes negotiations.
The President hosted the annual Governor's Ball in the White House's State Dining Room on Sunday, February 24
I'm not in a rush, I don't want to rush anybody, I just don't want testing,' Trump told the attending guests
Seemingly in high spirits, despite a convoluted speech plagued by indecision, the President said there is a chance of complete nuclear disarmament in North Korea, but also 'maybe not'
Should North Korea agree, Trump tipped the nation to rapidly become one of the world's economic superpowers (pictured: President Donald Trump toasts with guests at his table during the Governors' Ball in the State Dining Room)
'I think it will lead to something very good, but maybe not,' the President whimsically declared.
'I think ultimately it will - but maybe not.'
Should Kim acquiesce to his demands, Trump said North Korea would have a shot at becoming one of the world's great economic powers.
When the pair last met, the meeting ended without any substantive agreement, triggering a several month-long impasse between Washington and Pyongyang.
In his upcoming meeting with Trump, experts say Kim will push the US to commit to improved bilateral relations and partial sanctions relief, while attempting to minimize concessions on his nuclear program.
Though Kim is using his nuclear facilities and weaponry as leverage for economic and security benefits, doubts continue to persist as to whether he is actually ready to fully submit the entire program - which some argue is his greatest chance of survival.
North Korea has suspended its nuclear and long-range missile testing, as well as dismantling a nuclear testing facility - but none of the motions were a seen as profound cutbacks on its nuclear progress.
This led to Washington requesting more concrete steps towards denuclearization from Pyongyang, before any discussion of sanction relief could commence.
President Trump and Kim will meet on Wednesday and Thursday in Hanoi, Vietnam as they sit down for the second time to discuss nuclear disarmament and the possibility of the US lifting sanctions on North Korea
Because of Kim Jong Un (above), Trump said North Korea would have a shot at becoming one of the world's great economic powers
'Chairman Kim realizes, perhaps better than anyone else, that without nuclear weapons, his country could fast become one of the great economic powers anywhere in the world,' Trump tweeted on Sunday.
'Because of its location and people (and him), it has more potential for rapid growth than any other nation.'
Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, also attempted to downplay expectations ahead of Wednesday, telling Fox: 'We may not get everything down this week, [but] we hope we'll make a substantial step along the way.'
Pompeo then contradicted the President's claim that North Korea was no longer a nuclear threat, asserting that it is.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
