Roxanne Pallett has revealed she sent a 'suicide message' to her family and has suffered with PTSD after the Ryan Thomas 'punchgate' on Celebrity Big Brother last year.
The former Emmerdale actress, 36, spoke candidly about her past five months after leaving the controversial Channel 5 show and admitted she has 'lost everything'.
Roxanne has been keeping out of the spotlight after her ill-fated Celebrity Big Brother stint last year, in which she faced fierce backlash after falsely accusing Ryan of punching her with intent.
Speaking out: Roxanne Pallett has revealed she sent a 'suicide message' to her family and has suffered with PTSD after the Ryan Thomas 'punchgate' on Celebrity Big Brother
The soap star admitted during the candid interview that she was put on antidepressants and anxiety medication and even started losing her hair after her CBB exit.
Roxanne added that she was even scared to leave her house after people wished she was dead so she changed her number, email address and even moved house.
Yet the Emmerdale actress hit 'rock bottom' in the lead up to Christmas, sending a message to her mum, auntie and two friends saying 'sorry and goodbye'.
Reflecting on the moment, Roxanne told The Sun: 'You feel like you can never say sorry enough to every single person that hates you and I felt like there was no point in even trying anymore as the perception had become so bad. I just thought, I’m done. I’m not going to make it to Christmas.
Outrage: The former Emmerdale actress, 36, spoke candidly about her past five months after leaving the Channel 5 show following backlash and admitted she has 'lost everything'
'I sent a message to my mum, my auntie and my two friends. I was saying sorry and goodbye. They all panicked, called each other and my mum left work to rush and get to me. That was when they all realised I needed urgent help. I went to Scotland the next morning and began EMDR and CBT therapy for PTDS panic disorder.'
Roxanne went on to reveal that through therapy she was able to address a lot of past traumas that she had 'pushed to the back of her mind', calling the past five months 'the most important months of her life'.
She added: 'I'm not using these traumas as an excuse, because they’re not, but some people can bounce back and handle life and some of us don’t. I looked at the footage [of the Big Brother house] and I thought: I need help.'
Roxanne revealed that her PTSD stemmed from a previous abusive relationship and being caught in a house fire wen she was just six-years-old, adding that her mental health 'started crumbling years ago'.
The star also admitted that she doesn't want anyone feeling sorry for her as the backlash is '100% her fault' and apologised for her behaviour in the CBB house, revealing she should have got help.
However, she added that Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has been her 'saviour' and 'rock' after he reached out to her during her difficult five months.
Roxanne was also grilled on her ex-fiancé Lee Walton after it was reported that he dumped her last month, but the star didn't want to discuss their split and instead wished him happiness.
In January, a source told The Sun: 'Roxanne's whole life appears to have fallen apart in the past six months. Professionally, no one wants to touch her and now her personal life is in tatters.
'She and Lee got very serious very quickly but it has ended completely. She is gutted.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
