«Breaking News» Pregnant Alex Jones reveals she was rushed to hospital after she couldn't feel the baby move

Pregnant Alex Jones has revealed she was rushed to hospital after not feeling her baby move for a few days, but reassured fans the child was fine.

The One Show presenter, 41, shared a candid snap of herself in a hospital bed with a foetal heart rate monitor attached to her growing stomach, where she admitted fears over her child's decreased movement had led her to seek medical attention.  

She wrote: 'Hadn't felt much movement from the baby for a few days so lying here being monitored.'

'If in doubt mammas ALWAYS check! So reassuring to hear the heartbeat.' 

She later shared a post reassuring fans the little one was doing well.

The star wrote: 'All was fine at the hospital. His or hers little heartbeat was going like the clappers but good to check. Thanks for the messages.'

Shortly before the festive period, Alex made the big reveal that she is expecting her second child with her husband Charlie Thomson.

The loved-up couple are already parents to two-year-old son Teddy.  

Alex previously documented her struggle to conceive for a second time.

She told The Sun: 'I suppose I'm older now, but we took it for granted that it would be OK. But you don't really know until you start trying how it's going to go, do you?

'The majority of couples I know have had something, not always IVF, but some problem that needs to be sorted out.

'Suddenly you see someone pregnant or with a newborn and you don't really hark back to what happened before because everyone's just delighted there's a baby.'

Cute: The loved-up couple are already parents to two-year-old son Teddy.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
