«Breaking News» Meet the couple selling a $750,000 Pennsylvania house with a 'sexual oasis'

It was the real estate listing heard around the world. An ordinary suburban Pennsylvania home that looked perfect for a family on the outside, with a secret fully-furnished sexual oasis in the basement.

The basement came complete with whips hanging on the walls, chains attached to the bed, and even a sex swing. Now the couple behind the home are revealing why they created the frisky feature.

Vince Marie and Priscilla Costa only began dating in August, five months after Marie lost his wife of 27 years to an aneurysm, after they met on eHarmony.com.

By the second date, Costa was telling Marie he was her soulmate. Soon the couple began planning the rest of their lives together, including moving from the small city of Ambler - population 6,521 - to bustling Philadelphia.

The couple told PhillyVoice they decided to put the home on Airbnb until they were ready to list it on the market. But then they realized one very important question: 'Who the f**k would want to rent in Ambler?'

Marie and Costa began brainstorming a hook that would lure people to the sleepy suburb. That's when Costa recalled the 'love motels' of her native Brazil, where rooms are designed to serve as an escape for couples looking to have a steamy night.

After the couple had come up with their gimmick, they decided to do some research and began visiting sex clubs around the city to see what kind of toys and props their prospective renters would want from a sexual oasis.

'It's sexy. I never felt judged when we were there,' Costa, a wedding gown designer, said. 'They were so respectful. There's nothing forced. No one's touching you.'

'It was actually super fun because we learned so much and opened our minds even more.'

The couple then needed the right furniture, so they called on the expertise of Jan Maartensen, better known as the 'Bondage Builder' for the fetish furniture he makes in his Oregon home and sells on Etsy.

Maartensen built a bed, sex swing, and other fetish equipment for the couple, even personally delivering the new pieces to their home.

Costa and Marie, who runs a creative production agency, also bought wooden figurines from IKEA to 'serve as how-to guides', along with whips and chains.

The sexual oasis has remained intact since the house has gone up for sale for $750,000, although the listing promises it can also be 'converted back to a typical suburban basement'.

The home also boasts all the normal interior features, including five bedrooms, two bathrooms, a gym and a games room spread across 5,000 sq ft of space.

But of course it was the basement that caught the public's eye, with one of the hosts of The View calling people who would rent such a place 'freaks'.

Costa and Marie said they weren't happy with how their home was portrayed in the media.

'We live here. It's our home,' Costa said. 'It's a sexy place, but it's not dirty.'

'We wanted to offer a place where you can come and not be judged, to not feel fear,' Marie added. 'Maybe some people aren't comfortable going to a sex club, but they can come here and it can be anything they want it to be.'

'We don't judge, and we don't want you to judge others. Let people be the people who they are and not get into their business.'

Both of the couple's children, two each from separate marriages, have experienced teasing from the listing. Costa said she has suffered from 'slurs aligned with promiscuous sexual behavior', while others have told Marie he is dishonoring his late wife's memory.

'Everybody has their own healing process. Some people need more time than others,' Marie said. 'Everybody just deals with s**t differently. People questioning if I moved on too fast? How f*****g dare they.'

'Both of our lives have done a 180 this year. We put it all together in a way that worked for us,' added Costa, who is recently divorced. 'I think we're both very grateful.'

Marie hopes he and Costa have inspired people not to judge others.

'We're not doing anything wrong,' he said. 'We have nothing to hide. We're unafraid. You can have f*****g fun if you choose to have f*****g fun. And we're having a f*****g blast.'

'We created a fantasy room and we love it,' Costa added. 'We laugh at life, we don't take it too seriously. People may judge us, but we don't care.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
