«Breaking News» Kim Kardashian pays tribute to late father Robert Kardashian Sr. on the day he would have turned 75

It was a somber day for Kim Kardashian Friday as she marked the anniversary of her late father Robert Kardashian's birthday.

The reality TV queen, 38, took to social media with a decades-old shot of herself and the late attorney, who died from esophageal cancer at the age of 59 on September 30, 2003, about two months after he was diagnosed.

'Happy Birthday dad!!!!! This was my Sweet 16 and this is the moment my dad surprised me with my first car!' Kim wrote. 'I wish you were here so badly so we could have so many more memories!'

Kim had previously shared a video of the special day in February of 2017. 

In the shot, both father and daughter were beaming as a teen Kim looked at the automobile her dad had bought her.

The mother-of-three - to daughter North, five, son Saint, three, and one-year-old daughter Chicago - added, 'We are all missing you and celebrating you today!'

Kim's older sister Kourtney also shared a throwback pic of herself at a school dance with her father, who was married to her mother Kris Jenner from 1978 until 1991.

She wrote: 'Father daughter dance 1993. Happy Birthday to the best daddy I could have ever imagined. Your love shines through all of us and we feel your protection.'

Robert's life and career first put the Kardashian family name into the headlines in 1994, when he joined 'The Dream Team' of defense attorneys in what was referred to as 'The Trial of the Century' of his close friend O.J. Simpson in the wake of the murders of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman.

Kardashian was on the defense squad alongside the late Johnnie Cochran, Alan Dershowitz, F. Lee Bailey, Robert Shapiro and Barry Scheck, which got Simpson his freedom from the murder charges. As the jury read the verdict on October 3, 1995, Kardashian was visibly stricken as the not guilty decisions were delivered.

The following year, Robert said in an ABC interview he wasn't convinced of Simpson's innocence in double murder: 'I have doubts; the blood evidence is the biggest thorn in my side; that causes me the greatest problems. So I struggle with the blood evidence.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
