«Breaking News» How newlyweds vape at each other in bizarre new wedding photo trend

Wedding photos where the happy couple is seen frolicking in a field and holding hands while gazing into each other’s eyes is so yesterday.

The new trend among newlyweds is to pose for similar photos - while vaping.

Social media is chock full of viral photos showing official wedding pictures where the millennial newlyweds - and, at times, some of their guests - blow out smoke after taking a puff on an electronic cigarette.

One photo posted to Reddit shows a bridegroom surrounded by what appear to be best men all vaping as the bride looks on in amazement.

‘Nothing better than a good old vape nation wedding,’ the headline on the Reddit picture read.

While the trend is getting attention now, it appears that newlyweds have been posting vaping photos for a while.

One Twitter user on Monday posted four photos showing newlyweds vaping while posing for official wedding photos.

The tweet generated more than 2,600 retweets and 8,300 likes.

Another Twitter user posted similar photos and added the caption: ‘So vaping in weddings seems to be a thing. Only in New Jersey.’

A Twitter user who goes by the name Berlin Katarina wrote: ‘I just saw on Facebook that VAPING WEDDING PHOTOS ARE A THING...Just posting these to ruin your day.’

There are even vaping-themed wedding planners as well as guides for how best to vape at these ceremonies.

Vaping and e-cigarettes have become hugely popular in recent years as the public seeks alternatives to regular cigarettes.

The battery-powered gadgets feature a glowing tip and a heating element that turns liquid nicotine and flavorings into a cloud of vapor that users inhale.

Even when e-liquids don’t contain nicotine, the lungs are still exposed to flavoring chemicals when the vapors are inhaled.

While many of the flavorings are considered safe to eat, some previous research suggests that inhaling vapor from these chemicals may damage the lungs, blood vessels and heart.

Critics of e-cigarettes say that claims they are healthier than regular cigarettes have yet to be backed up by research.

There is also the fear that flavored tobacco products have a greater appeal for young people who would have otherwise not gotten addicted to nicotine in the first place.

Last month, a new study claimed that growing popularity of e-cigarettes among U.S. youth may be associated with increased use of potentially dangerous flavored tobacco products.

Tobacco use overall appears to be waning among American middle and high school students.

The proportion of students using any tobacco products declined from 17.3 per cent in 2014 to 13.6 per cent in 2017.

But the picture looks different for flavored products. Among young people who use tobacco, the proportion using flavored products dropped from 69.4 per cent in 2014 to 57.7 per cent in 2016 but then rebounded to 63.6 per cent in 2017.

‘As flavor use in other tobacco products decreased or leveled off, flavored e-cigarette use continued to increase,’ said study author Hongying Dai of the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

‘No form of tobacco use is safe for teens,’ Dai said by email.

One brand of e-cigarettes in particular - Juul - led to an explosion of flavored tobacco use in 2017 with a range of flavors popular with young people like mango, cucumber and fruit, Rahman said.

Late last year, Juul said it would pull popular flavors from retail store shelves in an effort to curb teen use of the products.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
