«Breaking News» Great-grandmother, 79, fights off a burglar with TWO firearms

A 79-year-old great-grandmother has told how she took on a burglar inside her home by firing two guns at him and shouting, 'when you come down them stairs, I'm gonna blow your fu***** brains out.'

Gwendolyn Agard, was in her house in Jackson County, Atlanta when she saw a man trying to open her front door.

The man proceeded to get inside the property by using an outside set of stairs to get to a window on the upper level of her house.

Agard's call on February 12, where she can be heard shouting at the burglar and firing shots, has been released by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.

In an interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Agard said, although she sounded full of fight on the call, she was frightened the man had a gun.

'Hurry, hurry, please,' Agard can be heard saying to the dispatcher during the 911 call.

Agard then decides to take matters into her own hands while waiting for the police to arrive.

'I've always said, 'Don't ever let anybody come in and run you out of your own house,' Agard told KTRK

She told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution she grabbed her .38 pistol when she heard glass breaking.

'I said, 'if you come in here, I'm going to blow your (expletive) brains out.'

Agard says on the call that she has fired her gun so it could be heard by the burglar.

The man starts throwing things down the stairs and Agard fires off another round.

The great-grandmother said she went to get a larger gun, her .45 pistol, when the man started moving down to the lower level where she was.

'When you come down them stairs, I'm gonna blow your fu***** brains out,' Agard said. 'I'm waiting for ya.'

She fired the gun, hitting a nearby wall, according to a Jackson County Sheriff's Office report.

The man then retreated and hid in a crawl space in a closet and when police arrived they arrested him.

The alleged burglar has been identified as Hans E. Rogers.

Rogers from Powder Springs has been charged with burglary, home invasion and criminal trespass, according to the sheriff's office.

Agard who is a caretaker said she was also protecting a client in her home at the time, who she said was blind.

'Looking back over it, (God) wasn't ready for either one of us because it could have easily gone in a different direction,' Agard added.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
